rincon wrote:Donnarumma and Locatelli do qualify. If the player is currently U21 then you don't have to worry I'm pretty sure.

Its basically 17 players with no restriction + 4 players homegrown + 4 players clubgrown with U21 players having no restrictions.

Roma needs just 1 player with Totti, De Rossi, Florenzi, maybe they'll recall Verde.
Inter needs some work.
Napoli has only Insigne I think so that will be a lot of change.

I hope they do qualify, though I'm still not certain given that the article specifies at least three years spent in the youth set up between the ages of 16 and 21. Hopefully it does include those promoted at 18 or prior however.

Inter have a very productive youth academy, I doubt they'll struggle, even if they end up rotating names through the squad every year, but they typically do include a couple of youngsters in games anyway.

Napoli will require quite a bit of work as you stated. It's ironic that there are so many Neapolitan football players but so few play for Napoli or came up through their academy.

There is no guarantee that these home grown/club grown players will be starters, let alone be Italian. Useless piece of regulation that wont make up for the lack of talented Italians.

For some clubs that will almost certainly be the case. If it encourages more clubs to actually use their academies for depth at the very least we might see a few more players being given opportunities when injuries and suspensions pile up.

It's all futile if the proper coaching and management of these players from a very young age isn't helping to create players worthy of making the step up of course, but as part of a greater strategy we might see more teams taking the approach of Sassuolo over Udinese.

So it seems both Milan clubs are going to be bought out by the Chinese.

Suning group apparently close to acquiring majority stake of Inter.

Definitely tbh.

Oddo is great.
Pescara was promoted playing a great football . A "little" Barcellona.
I believe we 'll listen to talk about him like done for Di Francesco ( from Pescara , like Oddo ... curiously . Matter of DNA ) etc

Pescara is also the Verratti 's city for who doesn't know it.

Curious to watch where Lapadula will go
Serie B is not Serie A , he is " already " 1990 ( as most GL users ) , but he is fantastic imo.
I believe he is the best Italian CF  TBH Laughing

He would be perfect for Sassuolo.
He shouldn't go to Napoli or Juve where he'd be a back up.
He needs to complete his growth completely in a good club and Sassuolo is really ideal for him !
He 'd give his best under Di Francesco system and  he 'd not have even competition , because Defrel was crap this year.

Today he didn't play as usual , missed also a easy goal , but anyway given his contribution with  that Trapani's red card caused because of last man foul on him .
This because he is not just a great top scorer, he moves perfectly around the pitch , always a thorn for the defences,  he's the opposite of a " static" CF, basically a modern player.

In first leg Pescara won 2-0 , Trapani ( a Sicilian city ) would have gone in Serie A if they won with the same result because they finished 3rd in regular season .. while Pescara was 4th

Trapani won 1-0 after 5 minutes in first leg.

The second half was a hell.

Then ............ Verre . The Roma fans will remind him ( maybe ) with this goal..

That would make for a great triple threat match

Sousa interfering to help Brocchi

Kluivert, Davids and Stam (Seedorf wantwd then as attacking, midfield and defensive coaches) coming in to lay waste

The Authority S&B forcing Pippo to win, does the countout himself

Then he must still be friends with Radja, who is known to break a couple legs with his horror show tackling.

Keep it classy bruh

Sad day for Roma, great day for Juve and Pjanic.

We only have ourselves to blame though. This is the price we pay for expensive flops like Doumbia and Ibarbo.

Sheesh, he really did push for the Juve move:

With this note I inform you that I intend to activate my right to be transferred to another club, as agreed beforehand

I also tell you my intention to send the 20 per cent of my share of the transfer fee directly to the club that will buy my contract, which I specifically inform you is Juventus.

I thank you and urge you to make contact to finalise the necessary contractual formalities

Juve chief Marotta further unmuddied the waters by confirming Pjanic's desires, saying

The Pjanic operation was concluded with the push of the player, who strongly wanted the transfer to Juventus by activating the release clause he had already stipulated with Roma

Pjanic himself facilitated the operation by deciding to forego the percentage of that sum he would've been due

I think this rivals the Emerson transfer as probably the most villainous in Roma's history.

That said, whatever. Time to move on.

Sad Heartbreaking story that. That's the reason I never joined Juve myself. Didn't want to lose mates when I was on the school football team. I made the correct decision.

Exactly, it was the worst possible scenario for a Livornese
Basically the only Livornese to be glad for the football was Allegri this year Very Happy

Pisa was promoted after a double leg against Foggia. They won 4-2 in home and tied 1-1 in second leg , in Foggia.
In last minutes the match was suspended because the Foggia public threw everything on pitch , Gattuso was hit by a water bottle in the head.
The Southern Italy  stadium are often so ( Foggia is in Puglia ).
Great enthusiasm but it can generate madness, as happened in Foggia. The football is everything in those places..
