Just saw that he was playing with the U21 today. He was captain of the U20 iirc. Now he moved up and was playing CB in the 4-1 win vs Slovenia.

Regista. One of the few players that I've seen that play regista since being a kid. Usually the end converting AMs or CMs to the role like Pirlo or Marchisio. Regista through and through. Alonso is a good comparison. The kid himself says he is inspired by Thiago Motta.

Thanks fratello. So Mandragora and Bentancur will complement each other perfectly. Add SMS and we have a young dynamic potentially world class midfield. Add in Can and we are set for the next decade.

Bernardeschi Kean Orsolini

Sergej Mandragora Bentancur

Spinazzola Caldara Rugani Lirola

Audero

This could be our future team in 2-3 years. 8 Italians. ITALJUVE is back. The tradition of great Italian Juventus players looks certain to continue for the foreseeable future.

Kean is Raiola's protégé, he'll leave after his frist good season imo

Bernardeschi, Mandragora, Caldara, Rugani... agreed. These guys will play for the NT if their development goes on.

Pjaca-???-Bernardeschi
Verratti-Sergej
Mandragora
Spinazzola-Caldara-Rugani-Lirola
Szczeszny

imagine this as our starting 11 in 2020 (i do think Higuain will be finished by then)

Loving that midfield. That's the dream. We only need a good 150m and to somehow convince PSG of selling.

Can't forget about Pjanic and Bentancur, and of course, the one who will be the first fullback to ever win the Ballon D'Or... De Sciglio.

As long as Verratti doesn't sign a new contract then we can take him on a free in a few seasons hmm

He is doing well at Sassuolo but doesn't look too special for us to be signing him back, at least not yet. Being so small he has to be extra good to make it at Juve, he makes Pjanic look tall. He played a lot last year and will probably play more this one. Can't see him making it with us over someone like Bentancur.

Mandragora again very good. This time I watched the game. All of Crotone put in a very disciplined display and basically did everything right. Props to Nicola as well for setting them up like that.

Our boy was one of the protagonists, had the job of a DM and did it well. Most tackles, most passes, best pass %, most aerial duels won, etc. The whole thing.

Rolando Mandragora - Page 2 Empty Re: Rolando Mandragora

Post by rincon Wed Feb 21, 2018 12:58 pm

Long interview with Mandragora's dad. Translated some of the stuff.

Dadragora:
Rolando's season at the moment is in line with what we expected and hoped for. Merit also goes to fantastic welcome that the city and the fans have given my son.

We saw him happy the first part of the season in part thanks to the attention and advice from Nicola, and also now we seem him optimistic and trusting of the work of Zenga.

(previously Rolando named Pjanic's "magic" and Khedira as role models)
Rolando has been, and must continue to be, brave and observant of those who have more experience than him.

Crotone has shown to believestrongly in Rolando and did everything necessary to include him in their project.

(Cagliari was reported interested in him during january, as well as a possible Juve return)
To play the whole season at Crotone was the best opportunity for Rolando because it allows to finish a challenge. Rolando has chosen to remain focused in giving the maximum to Crotone and we must support him.

(Rolando is one of the 41 loanees of Juve. Not everyone has the chance to return home and fight for this shirt. According to you, can one day Rolando be a protagonist in the old lady?)
For Rolando this is the first season as a full starter in Serie A and he is very young: now he has to work hard and gain experience. About his future we'll see in due time.

Khedira is also my role model. Didn't do shit at work last night.

How relevant is Mandragora compared to, let's say, Bentancur ? You think he can integrate the rotation next year ?

We lack a bit of everything is this midfield... pace, creativity, defending... each starter has a major flaw

If he comes next year or not is hard to say. Having him is better for us, loaning might be better for him.

He is better than Bentancur though. Bentancur is too raw. It seems that every time he plays he is just on the verge of getting sent off. He needs playing time and experience imo. To make mistakes and learn from them. Could do with a loan.

Mandragora had this type of seasons at Genoa and Pescara before the injury. Now he looks a lot more composed and experienced. He is central to Crotone and plays 90 minutes every game. Does a lot better defensively than anyone we have in midfield, in tackling, in the air, in interceptions, in positioning.

Juventus have reached an agreement with Udinese for the transfer of Mandragora.  The Bianconeri will retain a right to rebuy the player. [Romeo Agresti]
