Re: Roma - Milan
Roma is the favourite for tonight , right .. If they do win and it's by a bigger margin than 2 goals , Mihajlovic will probably be fired tonight , or tomorrow . Rudi Garcia ; if he (assuming..) manages to lose 0-2 , 0-3 against this Milan , him at least really will deserve the sack in the first place. Therefore . If this game somehow goes even a little out of hand , said coach will be saying his goodbyes soon after , either Rubi Garcia or Sinisterovic. For that reason it's a little difficult to make predictions about this one , let alone about the spectacle. I do however expect both teams to score at least once .
Now , Roma - unless they really , really mess up big time - will very likely have more of the ball and will be the team that has the upper hand for the majority of the time . Ironically that also kinda agrees with ourplay plans in general lines . Trying to threaten as fast and as direct as we can is what we will possibly try to do tonight as well and that will simply be our most realistic option at scoring , so Roma themselves will make it fairly simple for us. I say simple and not in our favor because if they do succeed with their play , our chances at a win will drop significantly , despite their glaring issues at the back . So , i do expect some openings on the counter to take advantage of . That much i do .
If the Colombian Fisher is on his day , we may have a game in our hands. Usually i would be absolute , but they're really missing Totti and he won't start this one and they also don't have Dzeko available . They will , most likely , still be the better team on the pitch , but we will have our chances to win . Won't hold a big basket , but we'll get certain good chances at goal coming our way , that much i know.

Re: Roma - Milan
from what i see the only people who should stay on this milan team are
bacca
bonaventura
donnarumma
milan need to go back to their roots and start integrating brazilians back into the team.
we always did good with a brazilian atk and italian defense.

Re: Roma - Milan
anyone else have the urge to punch bertolacci in the face. what a giant waste of money for such a garbage player.
has to be one of the worst transfers in history.
you can tell there is no passion in this team at all.
and *bleep* honda...abate makes the run all the way the field he gives a *bleep* garbage pass and doesn't even go back to cover for him. They nearly scored because of it. Get that *bleep* off the field and off the *bleep* team. This game is just pissing me off to watch.

they are playing a lot better afte the goal. too bad balotelli has been out for so long. I think he would be a better choice to Adriano.

Re: Roma - Milan
First half was very bad. Really , really bad . Claw your eyes out bad . Won't bother about it just now though. But honestly , if it wasn't for Rubi Garcia , we'd get ridiculed tonight and the game would be over from the 1st half . Lol , even if with Rubi , if Dzeko had played we'd be trailing at least 2-0 at half time .
2nd half was a lot better , but even our goal came out of nowhere , wasn't any destined outcome that would come sooner or later because of our overall play . But i'll gladly take it of course , since it made us play better , and Roma begun their usual bs once again .
After that , only Bacca could make the difference for us , hit the post in one excellent attacking move , from moving to get the ball , to shooting it . Such a shame that one didn't go in . SMH , Bacca is always in any given game so close to scoring at least one goal.. if we only had a real team behind him ffs , if only...
Other than that , pretty ugly stuff in general lines .
And why Antonelli didn't start and we had to suffer with De Sciglio at LB is beyond me. Lad was horrendous in the first half , just like Romagnoli.

Re: Roma - Milan
Decent game honestly. Probably should have won. We've upgraded from a team that couldn't create chances to a team that CAN create chances but can't seem to finish them. Idk which one is more frustrating.
Anyway, pretty easily dominated Roma for a good portion of the second half and aside from the horrid first 10 minutes, a solid performance. Can't really be too upset.

I'm just glad that we finally have a system in place. We need to get the right players to speed up the development. I just hope that the management maintains faith in Miha.

Re: Roma - Milan
Short thoughts:
-Prince surpassed my expectations and played full effort the whole time.
-Its nice to see the team showing in the 2nd half, been so used to 'concede a goal, then proceed to break down the bus,--->lose'
-Bertolacci really stepped up in the 2nd half, hoping to see more of the same
-Cerci is a c*nt
-A game without Montolivo and suddenly we run the ball forward passing between players with movement and a direct approach rather than a slowed down pace with a sideways passing style that really doesn't get much done.
-Kucka was immense, really put in a shift
-Romagnoli looked very nervous, wasn't playing up to standard, hope he expunges that
-We need to start matches full throttle, no complacency. The first half was horrendous.

Re: Roma - Milan
Also, take this performance with a grain of salt. Roma have been horrendous since they played Barca. We might have a chance of topping them come season end, but don't expect us to go toe to toe with Napoli, Fio, Inter and Juve.

Re: Roma - Milan
Don't even need to take it with a grain of salt. Being better than this Roma in the 2nd half don't excuse much of what i saw. Any top team in Serie A without Roma's issues right now would have a party in that first half and put this game to bed by half time. Even exactly how it went we were pretty lucky not to go 2-0 in half time. Good game my ass . We got off lightly . I don't know what Mihajlovic imagines but it wasn't just the shaky first 10 minutes , it was the entire first half that had Roma written all over it . Had they been not better , just a little lucky with Rudiger , this game would be well and truly over by the first 20m , at 2-0. That's the reality , that was our game in the first half.
That said . And never forgetting any of it. My hopes did get up in the 2nd half , the goal changed the mood over and Boateng helped a lot .Almost everyone showed character in the 2nd half and i have only praise for that. I give them that , they stepped it up and we came close to turning it around . Yes , 2nd half was a lot better in comparison, once it became clear keep playing like little girls would have us lose , they really went for it , i'd say even unlucky not to win , putting aside what we actually played , it still counts in any case .
