I'm still disgusted by the decision to expand the tournament to 24 teams, and the disgust has been amplified looking at these terrible groups.

UEFA forcing us to sacrifice 2 extra weeks of summer on watching Ukraine vs Northern Ireland ffs

What is this talk about 4 best 3rd placed teams getting qualification ? Then what is the use of the group stage?

Very poor, might as well include some guest teams and rename it as Copa America.

Yeah I definitely preferred the old format.

But they're trying to commercialize as much as possible like the EPL.

Very poor. The format and toughness was the one reason why Euro is/was valued very highly. This is copa America level bs, the only thing lacking is adding some guest teams into it. Laughing

Agree 100% adit. The Euros were great because they were slim, fast-paced, tough and stacked.
Netherlands, Portugal, Germany group last time around.
