Psycho Pass had a good premise, but..didn't do it for me

I hate these animes that are like ReZero and SwordArtOnline, was forced to watch them by a friend of mine ffs

After meticulous research, Mirai Nikki seemed like my cup of tea, i like stuff like this are somewhat supernatural but grounded, kinda like Death Note

You should definitely check out JoJos Bizarre Adventure though, it's shounen but doesnt really feel like it

not sure it'll be your thing though since it can get wacky AF and the first 9 episodes (part 1) aren't representative of  what the series becomes, if you can get through that though it's awesome, awesome action, animation etc, but the story isn't complex. It's a classic series with a modern adaption.

those alternate world/virtual world series are a dime a dozen nowadays and I haven't found one that's worth watching/reading yet tbh

there are also things like DeadMan Wonderland and Parasyte (havent watched either but they seem like they would be your kinda thing) that you may like, honestly you should use myanimelist to search for things and if you like the sound of them just give them a chance, it's the GOAT anime/manga site, found so many good series through it

D. Gray Man (Manga, its on hiatu/*bleep* up like HxH now but still good read)
Air Gear (Manga, one of the best reads i've had)
Bleach (i'm surprised you didnt read/watch it? its a cult classic in shonen, very good up to a certain point)
Noblesse (just started reading this, intriguing)

Believe it or not in my reading list is the rock climbing manga and the boy-bird one. Those two are really hyped online.

the rock climbing manga wasn't amazing, had the potential to be top 5 all time but fell into a predictable pattern, still has some of the best art ever

'bird-boy' is one of the greatest coming of age tales in media, period. there's a reason it's hyped. you should read some of the author's other stuff, he has a bunch of cool shorter stories with a similar vibe, if you like some of those you know you'll love PunPun.

things like Solanin, Hikari no Machi, Sekai no Owari to Yoakemae

also IMO the best manga artist alive

Towards the final part of Dressrossa arc on One Piece anime (don't judge)

I think it is a very underrated arc. Oda introduced some great characters (senor pink being the best). Would say it's a top 5 arc tbh.

that was the arc I was hyped for so I picked it back up again and the arc that made me wash my hands of the series

though following spoilers and reactions to the current arc makes Dressrossa look like an 11/10 masterpeice

Dressrossa's was good, but a tad too long.

Latest arc is also good, heaps of reveals and other stuff happening behind the scenes. I actually cannot wait for WANO though, it's going to be dope.

Guys, watch Inuyashiki - only 5 episodes so far, but it's been awesome.

Problem with Dressrossa is that it gives everyone screentime. The most minor of characters got an entire episode to themselves along with a flashback story. But it's a good arc tbh. It also showed why Oda is superior to any other shonen mangaka. His characters are unrivalled.

Voice actress Hiromi Tsuru died in her car today.

Most people from my generation will recognize her as the Voice of Ranma's third fiancee, and probably best friend, Ukyo Kuonji on Ranma 1/2, and also as Dokin on the kids series Anpanman.

She will most famously be remembered for being the voice of Bulma from the long running series Dragonball. Will be interesting seeing who they get to replace someone so iconic. Even more so when it appears her character plays a major role in the current Dragonball ark.





Crazy to think she was only still in her 50's too.
