Actually Burgess is 3rd strongest. Why? He is supposed to be Sanji's opponent (most fans speculate)

he became a yonkou in a blink of an eye because he knew which territory whitebeard owns  and no other up and coming pirate group could compete with him. Also the fact that a yonkou spot was available at the time so he didnt have to fight a yonkou for it. The guy got owned by a nearly dead whitebeard ffs.

Anyway its been 2 years since we've seen BB so I have no idea how strong he has gotten during that time, but I still think he's behind the other yonkous and dragon.

him knowing WB's territory helped but you don't get to become a yonko without any of the other yonko crews trying to fill the void (we already know they did with fishman island) and the other WB pirate remnants not trying to stop him? whitebeard wrecked him but he also stomped akainu too, BB is just cocky and overconfident, remember BB immediately after gaining WB's fruit was fighting Garp & Sengoku. There isn't always a fixed number of emperor seats, the whole reason there are that many is because they're all roughly equal and stalemated (although WB and Shanks seemed content with things and not interested in becoming PK) from here on out we're only going to see the  emperor system slowly get abolished until Luffy becomes Pirate King. BB will probably be the only emperor left by the time Luffy fights him, a pseudo-PK himself.

anyway the point I'm trying to make is that the gap between Yonko & the admirals is going to be pretty thin, it has to be by nature, I imagine Dragon is on a similar level. Obviously Blackbeard is going to slowly edge away from the others as he becomes stronger since he's almost certainly Luffy's final pirate related enemy (still think the WG will be final villains after he's become PK)

want to delete that post tbh, hate talking OP ffs. Been reading a manga called I am a Hero that I first looked at like 5 years ago, only 11 chapters in so far but it seems to be great, zombie apocalypse manga, reminds me of shaun of the dead but with a Japanese humor in place of British.

BB isnt overconfident, the guy is calcluative as fk. Shanks even insinuated that during his meeting with Whitebeard. I cannot see him just going gung ho into dragon's base and expect a win.

I agree with you that the gap between yonko and adminrals will be pretty thin in the future. But atm I think BB is under the other 3 yonko (maybe stronger than big Mom) and dragon in terms of 1v1.

Havent read any new manga in a while. Only reading one piece and kingdom. Thinking of reading Tokyo Ghoul though since I didnt really enjoy the anime as much as I wanted to.

he is overconfident, WB himself said that was his weakness. Think he took that to heart after WB whopped his ass though which is why he didn't want to take on Akainu.

TG is a great weekly, get on that. I'm reading like 10 ongoing series currently lol.

Most would have put Flamingo tier 1 as well before Dressrosa. Luffy upped his game to put him down. He'll upgrade more gears for higher ranked guys.

Love Dragon lol. Great character. Hope we see him fight someone even if not BB. I don't think either that he will have a match with BB. But this came out of nowhere.

I don't know how Oda will handle all of this. There is literally tension everywhere. Shanks, BB, Dragon, World government, BB, big 4. All are involved in one thing or another. Everything seems to be shaping up for another massive brawl.

Started that right after Apocalypse no toride. The main character and his gf made me sick after few chapters. Also there were some manga philosophy going on iirc. But people love it so I think I picked a wrong time to start that then.



btw, there is a zombie manhwa called "Dead days". It's like web toons but not exactly since there is one panel per page in the form of a manga so not those huge ones that you hate. All are coloured too. Give it a go, I am sure you'll like it. Not amazing but definitely addicting cause of unique art

I can definitely see why you would find the MC annoying, 30 chapters in and he's still doing bizarre things, There's a lot of social satire laced through this manga. Might check out Dead Days some time, but I find most Zombie manga feel rehashed, not many provide anything new. Have to be in the right mood to read them.

Yea I was reading that I am a hero requires a lot of patience in the beginning and even the zombie outbreak is very subtle instead of it happening overnight. Main character was straight weird. Think his gf was the main thing which put me off at that time. I'll get back into it since all of my currently reading mangas are on 5-6 months hiatuses for some weird reason. Unless they aren't being translated.


Dead days isn't exactly zombie apoc so that will be a fresh twist. Won't say much yet. But it's worth giving few chapters a go at least.

Finishing that manga I told you about. One with 250 chapters. It's gone absolute cringe and awful but I just have to finish it. Can't believe I am still reading it.


Will pick up I am hero after it.

Noragami 2nd season have been great and only 3 eps sofar, got dark real quick aswell.... can see Yato killing most of bishamon's ragelia again like he did in the past.. She keeps bringing more into her family which is her downfall.

That arc is amazing. But there is even a better arc than that which will be in season 3 I think.
