Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Our final game before yet another international break. This int. break comes too soon, the last one just finished
Anyway, we're on a high and Palace are on a low. And it's our home game. So, obviously it would be very fitting if Palace beat us.
But no! That shall not happen! Surely and certainly we're going to make it a four-game winning streak in all competitions
I suppose it's going to be the same XI as against Chelsea, but perhaps with Benteke in Lallana's or Firmino's place.

Even though Crystal palace are slowing down than when they started yhe season, this match is very difficult for klopp and co. Even tough than Chelsea imo. Palace play very physical game and won't give so much time on ball to likes of Can Milner and Allen. Intersting to see how klopp approaches the game.

Re: Liverpool v Crystal Palace
If we want to win, we need to play faster in the CM compared to our previous games. I think we are able to play some nice quick passes in final third although not accurate yet. But in CM, we are still slow. I think the reason has more to do with the quality of our central midfield. To be honest, the quality of passes from Sakho is much better than all of our current non injured CM. Can and Lucas do play good forward passes but not so consistently.

Re: Liverpool v Crystal Palace
I think we'll go with this:
Firmino is great at the 10 and should be playing centrally. Benteke seems healthy, and will be important for breaking down a tough CP squad.
Clyne - Skrtel - Sakho - Moreno
Can - Lucas
Milner - Firmino - Coutinho
Benteke
Can - Lucas
Milner - Firmino - Coutinho
Benteke

I would like to see
Milner, though I like this guy, looks a bit clueless at the moment. So Firmino comes instead. Rest of the team picks themselves.
Klopp's first EPL win at Anfield, it's been long overdue.

Milner is our best crosser of the ball and I thought he was quite good yesterday playing in an advanced position on the left. He will almost definitely get the nod over Lallana, and Coutinho can play on the left while Firmino is better in the middle.

It's at home so I'm not as worried as I would be if it was Selhurst Park.

On the other hand Palace have some great counter-attacking players and away games suit them.

I used to dread match days. Now I just can't wait for the next one. We should play every day.

I'm expecting to see Ibe and Teixeira getting some minutes (probably off the bench).

I think Palace are going to come much prepared for this game and it will not be easy as we actually imagine it to be just because we won the last three games ! We are actually quite good to *bleep up* when things are finally working for us.

Re: Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Very interesting to see how we'll do without Milner. He's got some stick while his status makes him hard to drop.
Also, nice to see Kelly get a start for Palace. Our fans at Anfield should give him a fine reception.
That said, hopefully we'll absolutely rape him and their other defenders, too.

Re: Liverpool v Crystal Palace
I'm starting to take a real dislike to Emre Can whenever it comes to defensive duties. What the duck was that lay-off to Bolasie? He was capable of kicking it stronger, but it looked like he tried to pass it to Lucas or whatever. It's starting to get really painful how Can can cost us in defense.

Palace haven't been in the game after their goal. Coutinho again with the goods. Need to make this superiority count, if we want top-4 these are the games we must win.

Re: Liverpool v Crystal Palace
I think for Klopp this was the first game, where opponents were so physical and our players were clearly in fatigue ! So after a long trip to Russia this was always a worst team to play against.

Re: Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Why was Firmino marking one of their CBs in that corner? Ffs what idiocy.
A really poor loss. CL just slipped a whole lot further away.
