What will Pep do next?

I'd love him to go to United. It would be a challenge for him which I'm sure he would succeed. It's true that in England there are 2-3 more hard teams than in other leagues, but differently from in Germany or La Liga, you then don't need 90+ points to win the league.
I'm sure with the consistency he brings to the table, he could make United a champion team in his first season, kicking out the rotten apples if there's any (Rooney?), adding a couple of pieces and developing to the max some misused players (Herrera, Martial).
Or he could take a sabbatical and wait for us to resign him when Luis Enrique leaves.
I wouldn't go that far. Even in BM it took a year for him and the team to adjust together (Yes, he did win 4 titles including the league). At United he'll have a big task depending on their activities in the transfer window.

It's funny people keep saying that, Pep himself, but I feel very differently.
I feel Pep and the team clicked straight away. At least if they weren't adjusted, they didn't show, since they won every game including a top performance away to City in something like October.
He changed the team and his formations gradually, no doubt, but I don't buy this 'took one year' thing.
If anything, we were as great fall of the first season as we were in the falls of the last 2 seasons.
It seems in spring Pep and the team disadjust again

Re: What's next for Pep Guardiola?
Shit,I dint know Pellegrini has actually extended his contract till 2017.
So they'd have to sack Pellegrini to hire Pep ?
What was the point of the contract extension then

Seriously now, what's this embarrassing bullshit.
Hannover are on the first relegation spot.
Let's play that game again
"not like the weekly challenges against the mighty Rayo "
"not like the weekly challenges against the mighty Norwich "
You're trying to tell me those teams would be tougher competition for a Pep team?
"Require coaching skills"? As in, Pep has no 'coaching skills'?
So that's your stance now? 'Pep Guardiola has no coaching skills'?
Apart from the fact this is obviously one of the stupidest things one could possibly write, why would a Barca fan talk like that about a club legend like Pep
Is this a serious question? Of course playing against Norwich with Manchester United is a tougher challenge. The league itself is a tougher challenge. You don't win the EPL in October, unlike Bundesliga where bookies don't even take bets on Bayern.
Pep has coaching skills but no one knows how good they are. Because so far player quality can bail him out. Maybe he can play 2-1-3-2-1-1 with Bayern and it works against Bundesfodders due to sheer player quality. Maybe he'll try the same with Manchester United and he'll get rekt hard with a lesser team. Do we know that for sure that it won't happen? No. So he has to go and prove himself.
LOL, Chelsea did last year no less. The league was over before it began. 8 weeks in and fans were arguing who would come in second.
Not to mention for what ever reason i think people are not mentioning or totally forgetting as most of this board has the memories of a goldfish the massive injury issues Pep had during the later stages of the Champions League 2 years running.
I mean the injury issues he had to deal with at Bayern were unreal. They were the favorites to win the CL before his team was decimated.

Dnmac4 pls stop, by New years City and Chelsea were tied on everything and Chelsea were top of the top alphabetically only. So 3-4 weeks later they won the league so, they didn't win it in Oct but Feb.

I didn't watch all their games that season, but saw quite a bit. I know what your saying I felt in his first season some players adapted well a few didn't as well as the others.
I'm also only going by things Pep said himself through out that season he said the team isn't his yet or at the level he wants them. He also said he need to adapted to German culture and to his players. I'm not saying that team wasn't their but to me at least they weren't at the level I saw in the 2nd and 3rd season.

Re: What's next for Pep Guardiola?
Wenger said: 'Personally I don’t like the fact that the managers come out so early for what they will do, because it’s not necessarily good for their own team, nor for the speculation about the managers who are going through a little bit of a difficult patch.'
Wenger did, however, admit his admiration for Guardiola and said he would welcome his arrival in England.
He said: 'I think he is of course a top-quality manager, nobody would dispute that. Not so much for what he has won already, because Bayern won before, Barcelona still wins today, but I think about the positive attitude he has towards the game and the fact he wants his team to play football in a positive way. I respect that highly.
Wenger taking them pot shots +adding a bit of praise.

Re: What's next for Pep Guardiola?
Wenger should stop his habit of talking about things that are none of his business.
Especially since Pep hasn't 'come out and said' anything lol. Pep hasn't said a word publicly
It's us that wanted a decision, to know how we can plan the next season, and that's what happened.
Not sure what's wrong with it and it's not for Wenger to give his judgement about it which frankly noone gives a damn about or was asking about.
Sanctimonious prick.
Also, it's really interesting that Wenger seems to have a hard time not being bitter about Pep for some reason. It's clear he has somehow a problem with Pep's high standing. He never compliments him straightforward, always packed into passive-aggressiveness.
On topic, kicker reports Pep will be City manager for certain.

Guess what happened immediately after Wenger gave that interview....
A certain English source : Wenger called Guardiola over succeeding him at Arsenal.
For more information refer to the picture above my username :-)

Or no, I won't take it, someone else can. What Pep does or doesn't do in the future is none of my concern and frankly I couldn't care less.
Not worth me betting about it.

Re: What's next for Pep Guardiola?
Chelsea can give him everything city can give him but him and his wife get to live in London. plus guus only having a contract till the end of the season tells me the next man still has a job. and city still have a full time manager.Winter is Coming wrote:He's going to City they offered him £25M + bonus and he'll be calling all the shots there.

It has become quite clear you are obsessed with pep. So what if they want to pay him that much? Seriously...
Very bizarre.

Being opinionated =/= obsession
I find it pretty crazy as this is unprecedented in football. That's it.
Now go crawl back to the United section. There are more important things to discuss for you, like qualifying for the Europa league next yr.
The foundation to become a consistent EL team has been laid upon this yr anyway (:

You bring up Pep every single day. You are obsessed. I don't know what he did to you personally. I think maybe you have some sort of hard on for him, so you insult him, cognitive dissonance perhaps.
