If this game is like any of its predecessors, Arsenal are going to lose their spark in the second half, allowing Bayern to win undeservedly, however understandably.
LMAO they sit back and counter at home. Pls go.
We are respecting you as opponents, instead of trying to go all out and letting you rip us apart in the process. It should be you who needs to jog along, if you don't want that.
We don't need to win, though.
Have to say I'm torn about Pep's CL away games tikinaccio tendency though. There's a fine line between dominant control and self-medication, and when Arsenal switched gears in the first half we couldn't switch back as we'd slowed down too much.

Rambo does his hammy. Ox and Bellerin against Costa - can already see the goal coming in from there.

Possession doesn't mean anything. They got mauled by Madrid 5-0 even though they had more possession.
Arsenal played better even though they are the underdogs. I expected Arsenal to concede at least 4 goals in the first half, but I ended up cheering for them because they were simply the better team on the pitch in the first half.
That playing beautiful circles around Bayern with their 35% possession and 60% pass completion

Our gear switch only lasts 20' a match tops. We are past that. Fully expect the defensive frailties to surface now.

Only need 1 of them to find the back of the net. Bayern obviously more likely, given that we have to find a way past that beast Neuer.

Before someone mentions Giroud being a supersub: he scores as a substitute when Arsenal tire the opposition out in the first 60-75 minutes with all the possession. Today, it has been Arsenal chasing the shadows.
Meanwhile, another moment from Cech which reignites the question of Ospina starting the earlier game.

Would not have a minute of surprise if this was a result of Lahm being moved to DM. Again

When Wilshere is fit, he should start against bigger teams instead of Özil, who goes MIA. #rant

In the unlikely scenario that Arsenal do end up winning this, against all sense of logic and reason and expectation, I can only come to the conjecture that the Fraudiola (no pretense wrt how much I dislike him) was simply doing a big, big favor to (what RG reckons will be) his future club.

Giroud's like a pauper's version of Lewandowski. (Or the guy who shines the boot of the steward of vet who takes care of Lewandowski's neighbor's dog - but you get my point).

Give yourselves some credit, dude. You won fair and square. Congratulations.
Wenger won the battle of intelligence tonight. Pep can go back to thrashing scrubs in the Bundi.

Also, the goal-side linesman finally had a decision to make in all these years.
