Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group D
I think Juve have a hard time getting out of this group.
They lost a lot of leadership and fight with Vidal and Tevez gone. I know everyone talks about Pirlo gone but those 2 are the ones they will really miss Pirlo was on his way out anyways.
And they got through by the skin of there teeth in a lot of the ties they were in last year so it kinds of hides the fact that outside of last year they've been a little suspect in the CL.
I could see them getting on the wrong end of a bad one in Seville.
So Sevilla and City to go through.

City will top this group but IMO they lose or draw away at Sevilla.

Lumping money on Sevilla to win EL.
it's a shame that EL was already decided through this draw.
Sevilla will walk it

Yup, it's a bad draw for Juve, not that they got good teams but style-wise as well. Sevilla can and will score on anyone, will they have there back line in order by then? That's kind of what I'm banking on.linetty wrote:IMO City and Sevilla go through
This group is going to be a dog-fight. All of these teams have goals in them.

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group D
I'll repeat what I said in the other thread: I think at home Sevilla can pick up points, but away from home I can't see them getting anything at Juventus or City. Not because they're bad away from home - they were magnificent away from in the EL knockouts last season - but because they become more reactive and inviting teams with the attacking quality of City or Juventus onto themselves won't turn out well.
There's also the fact that some of their defenders and keeper are error prone, which at this level will prove very costly.
One thing that does work in their favour is having a home game or Matchday 6. If they're still in with a shot of qualifying you know the Sanchez Pizjuan will be rocking.

I also think that City and Sevilla come out of this group.
City is going to finally come good in Europe. I think they will make the semis and win this group.

Easy group for Sevilla. They can top it with their B team and concentrate on GOAT Liga.

Think it's appropriate to have a poll here in regards to which two teams will progress.

People seem to forget City is one of the greatest CL chokers in the decade
I'm totally unconvinced by our team right now, but I'd still go with Juve + Sevilla progressing.
