I suppose I can understand why many of their fans feel a bit complacent with the club. Their entire identity has been changed and a part of the teams soul was kind of sold in the process. Instead of identifying as that noisy neighbor who was "fighting the good fight" against their big bad brothers across town, their now a corporate blue ooze like club that is made to feel guilty about whatever they win because of how much they spend. The titles I'm sure many are over the moon with but it certainly came at a cost of something. I think it has hurt a lot of the fans feeling of personal connection with the club. I doubt wins against United or qualifying for a European spot feels as good as they used to.

I think City have become the official choker of CL. The way they started this season, I thought they will win the home games at least.

Before you know it they will be paying their fans to come watch. Manchester...one suffering from karma the other suffering from lack of supporters.
