What do you lot make of him ?? do you think he is good enough to be a 20 goals a season man ??, i think the role he is playing at the moment suits him...he just needs to stop getting involved in the build up because he is not that type of player.

Re: Theo
I've always said that Walcott would thrive up front with a partner like van Persie or Chamakh. He has all the attributes you'd want in a poacher: good movement, incredible pace and a good finish.
Since we don't play with two strikers though, I reckon he could score close to 20 goals from the wing if he can cut the injuries out of his game and maybe use his left foot more.

Re: Theo
As Jay said in a 4-4-2 system I think Walcott would thrive more with a partnership with RVP similar to the Bergkamp/ Henry partnership.
But in the current system I think a target of 15 goals is reasonable seeing that he had 10 last season and was out injured for a few months. Just needs to work some more on his finishing which has improved over the last couple seasons.
Also although he has loads of pace what Walcott lacks is the ability to beat players one on one which is a crucial attribute for a true winger which he isn't.
As you said have him less involved in the build up play and concentrate more on his off the ball movement and finishing and we will get the best out of Walcott...

Re: Theo
I love tho and I have to say I have been hard on him, great to have him. The only think about theo is tha,t at times makes a wrong decision and put his head down and runs and then crosses the ball with out looking to see if there is anyone in the penalty area.

Re: Theo
for a winger he needs to work on crosses and ball control
as a player he needs to work on passes
but he is still a great player, and he can be a super sub, when everyone is tiered!
