No and then yes, especially if a no to a forward now increased our chances of landing Lukaku in the summer.

Always wanted him but being at Chelsea made that impossible. Becoming unplayable and improving in terms of intelligence and decision making, always likely to since he's young.

Everton would bleed us dry for him though, obviously.

Of course Lukalu but u never know, Euro is this year. There might be some new emerging targets or Lukalu price tag might drop.

still not convinced by his ability in tight space and when he has to make quick decision
but real threat when isolating defenders and using raw power
even harder for him if he moves to bigger team and opponents with different mindset

I like Lukaku a lot and think he's got a lot of nice qualities, but I'm skeptical how he could end up as a good (hypothetical) signing in the next couple of windows.

His price tag this summer would likely be big, as has been mentioned, and while that's often true for forwards in this market, I don't know if what he brings to the squad relative to the options we already have would justify that.

Lukaku is a beast, the best option for us. If Wenger goes after him I am sure Everton would have no choice but to let him go. Which other striker out there we can realistically get?

With the same price tag ( it will be huge if Lukalu maintain his form like now) assume they will flop in Euro, Lacazette, Griezmann, Fekir all different kind though. Not to mention Cavani somewhere there
