no, it depends the contexts in which the stats are used. i'm not buying into certain stats like shots that hit the bar nor goals 'almost' scored nor dribbles and things of that nature, yeah they're good for arguments sake, but i'm not into 'almost'.....as far as the foul per yellow goes, okay they got gritty at times, so they're NOT deserving winners? if argentina won, i doubt anybody would care for "fouls per yellows"...maybe we should just forget things like goals that win games and focus on "what team had less fouls/cards", "what teams had more shots that hit the bar and dribbles", "what teams had more corner kicks and free kicks" as our criteria for winning matches

2 years , 2 copa americas. Before 2008 Chile had never defeated Argentina, and since then they have defeated them 3 times, 2 of which include copa finals.

Their style of play may not be a pretty sight, but they get the job done.

We are at their peak of their golden generation and I expect them to make a big impact in 2018 WC.

I meant the general view of their play is like Atletico's, their harsh tackles mask over how great they play, not to mention Medel or Vidal arent likeable players
