Believe it or not, there is life outside of the best 1-4 clubs in each league, we see every season playing coming from nowhere having great seasons and many of them moving on to bigger and better things.

So let us shine some light on some of the more obscure names in football currently doing some good things.

I will start with Jonathas, plying his trade in Elche. Showing some quality finishing.

Cant imagine him staying long there playing like this.

Nolito does very well for Celta. By far their best player. Double digit goals and assists, takes on players, creates chances ... Did we give him away for free? I don't remember. If he played for a midtable Prem side like Spurs he'd be valued at least € 20M for sure.

I've been following Jonathas a bit, since he's been linked with Sevilla. Was pretty much playing teams on his own at some points this season. Seems to have that ability to make something out of nothing.

Alberto Bueno is another forward in La Liga who's had an excellent year. I remember seeing him struggle for Derby County, but he's surprised everybody with 17 goals this season for Rayo. I believe he's signing for Porto now.

Iago Falque is finally having a solid season, playing for Genoa with 13 goals and 4 assists. Juventus signed him from Barcelona a while back but I guess he was too raw to keep him.

Cagliari, despite being relegated, have some good players that i've seen, particularly Donsah and M'poku

Agree MT IMO. Not everyone wants more money, to be more known or more chance to play for NT imo

With all due respect, Fiorentina were one of the better Italian teams at some point in time (pre relegation). Just were never a title threat....Kinda like Arsenal Laughing

Also, I like Jonathas..but he is no Batigol. Everyone knew him.

I know, im just saying he had recognition already,Italian football had money and im sure he was highly paid and as we later found out with Bati, he didnt much care for winning things because football wasnt his passion.

Krychowiak is arguably the best midfielder of the season in La  Liga and although well known not a household name.

Bruno Peres has been one of the most promising RB s in calcio but is flying under the radar because he is in the same squad as Darmian.

Kranneviter, Mammana and Batalla are all future gems.

Spot on. Bruno Peres from Torino, Vrsaljko from Sassuolo and Zappacosta from Atalanta are all very promising full-backs.

Those never ending excuses. These unknown names means nothing...Herrera best player you had since Marquez was 27.

Vela, Gio, Jona, Herrera, Moreno all are doing solid. Chicha while not great technically still gets it done. Tecatito looks very promising, and does Lozano. And Ochoa just had a great world cup and will move this summer

I am proud of our little crop.

Anyways, lets not derail this thread.

I still have hope for Espericueta and Carlos Fierro becoming regulars in our National team

Speaking of Poles.....Kamil Glik needs some love.

Guy has been outstanding for Torino all season. One of the best defenders in Serie A certainly.

To quote mole : "Who is Glik Laughing "

One of the best defenders at scoring from dead ball situations. At one point he was Torino's top scorer Laughing
