Re: Ancelotti's next gig
I think CIty, they have been courting him for a while, and they are in CL.

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
how can Madrid think of sacking the man. come on now. he has done enough to get another season. Madrid have no class tbh. just higher and fire managers. and throw bags of money to get a win. and when they spend more than they have. they get bailed out. horrible club.

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
City makes sense to me.
They need to do better in the CL, is there anyone better than Carlo at that?
Count the league out sure, but with Chelsea, improved (I assume) Man Utd and Arsenal (who wont win but obviously will be a problem) I wouldnt call City favourites for that anyway.
Plus they wont have to make drastic changes to their team (unless they want to), I think Carlo would change just enough too make it his own team without tearing it down and starting over.

I agree. Carlo is a guy who gets along with stars and egos and doesnt need to impose himself, for what its worth.
If city want better showings in Cl, he's hte man.
As for the league, this is the PL, he's won it before with Chelsea. It's easier to win than La Liga against Barca.

Do you think he'd be able to actually make a difference at Milan with the players they currently have now?

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
If Milan get new investment from that Bee dude and his buddies, maybe then it would make sense to return to Milan. But he must be wary of the Milan gig if he's just handed the keys to the current ride without the chance to pimp it, because no one is going to turn this Milan side into a powerhouse.
What about national team management?
Carlo has done pretty much everything at club level already. Maybe Brazil could kick Dunga out? France swap Deschamps for Carlo? Or maybe Hodgson should fear for his job

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
Don't see how Barcelona could possibly be an option
If he doesn't take the year off, as has already been pointed out, Milan and City would be most likely. As a Chelsea fan, I hope he goes back to Milan

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
Milan is a poisoned chalice at this moment. I wouldn't wish the seat on my worst enemy.
Bee could turn it around, but then, Berlu could just as easily derail the whole thing and fart on our faces and spit in our food.

Re: Ancelotti's next gig
Dont know what made you think he'll go to Roma though (despite his Romanista roots)
He'll obviously go to a team who'll guarantee significant investments on the market.I mean he's just won the CL a yr ago and i'm sure he's looking to add more to his CV.He's still only in his early-mid fifties afterall.
Also there's no way he'll manage another National team other than the Italian one.
