Other than that I love Madrid fans making fun of our defense while the goals against in la liga are 19 vs 30.
Stay safe
Barca's defense hasn't even been a problem as far as i can tell since Alba and Alves have actually started playing like professional footballers.
Sure you could do with a stable partner for Pique but the midfield and it's inability to control and leaving loads of space is a much bigger problem.

I may be way off the mark.
You're off the mark. And Wolfsburg have beaten Bayern too and convincingly. This X beats Y so Y is bad is an idiotic logic with GL posters use because they have don't have the intelligence to analyze complex situation. I agree on the fact that currently Bayern have no competition in BL & Athletico & Real are much better than any BL teams. But personally I feel bar the top 6-7 odd rest La Liga team are BL Division 2 Level as they don't press the opponent, give up and the level is very poor in the bottom half of the team where Barca will have a cakewalk against most teams.
I am not sure I agree with your characterization of the posters here, myself included. It's not if x simply beats y to postulate how y would do with z. It's the manner in which x beats y that may provide insight into the quality of y.
Neither do not share your opinion with respect to the clubs in the bottom half of La Liga table.

Re: CL SF : Barcelona Vs Bayern Munich
I must say whenever Buyern fans take pride in our academy grad, I find it cute. Basically, any CL glory for Buyern henceforth will 've a blaugrana imprint.
And don't worry about Barca vis-à-vis Thiago. Our canteranos are deeply infused with the Barca DNA during their La Masia stay. When the parent comes calling the child always responds, as has been in the past. For now, Thiago's gaining experience and preparing himself for bigger challenges that lie in the Primera. If tom, Barca feels the need for him, Xavi will be on the case. And if that doesn't work, we just enlist Mazinho in to our payroll. Barca's quite good at it.
For now enjoy Thiago, one of Barca's jewels. If we want him, he shall return home.

Thiago is the Messi of midfielders, skill & talent wise. He will go down as one of the greatest ever if he keeps his head sorted and stays injury free. There is not a guy in Barcelona who can match him in midfield. Its good he left for us anyways because he is too good for Barca and Barca does not deserve a guy like this.

Re: CL SF : Barcelona Vs Bayern Munich
Barcelona are favourites now but these tags are meaningless. These ties are usually decided by fine margins. Bayern will still have Barcelonas respect. I do fear for Bayern because of Dante. It will be an interesting tie as there are several themes and sub plots that underly the tie. Pep returning to Barcelona, Bayern playing the football that is closer to the clubs supposed 'ideals', Barcelona playing more as a counter attacking side and relying less on control etc It seems like these guys always use each other to stamp some sort of mark in Europe, Peps Barca mashed them 4-0 to show they were the force of new in Europe, Bayern mashed Barcelona to bring about their own 'era' (if you want to call it that), I think this tie will have a similar rhetoric in the balance of power in European football.

I realize Fußball's getting uncomfortable with the expectation game unanimously swaying in favour of Barca, but honestly you need to man up.
After all you let the cat out of the bag already, what with competing in 'cringesliga against Paderborn and Wolfsburg' has Bayern fooled about their true (lack of) quality, while Barca would thump Dortmund 5:0 at home everyday of the week etc
So stop the contortions and just say that you think Barca is better and you expect them to win.
As for us not having a injury crisis etc pp, let's take a look.
- http://www.goallegacy.net/t37177p756-the-bundesliga-thread#1407979 here's that table showing how we have the worst injury record this season of any team in the last 5 years. That was before Robben was out for the season after playing 6 minutes in his comeback, Badstuber renewedly injured, out for the season to after a couple of games.
- As for the team we can field, let's say we can bring a squad of
Neuer, Rafinha, Boateng, Benatia, Bernat, Alonso, Lahm, Schweini, Thiago, Götze, Müller, Reina, Lewandowski, Martinez, Dante, Rode, Weiser, Gaudino, Pizarro.
- Robben, Ribéry, Alaba, three undisputed, very important first teamers out.
- Badstuber out, would play ahead of at least Dante if fit (the difference between the two was the difference in lineup between 1st and 2nd Porto leg, mind you)
- Benatia, since joining us, missed more than half of the games with 4 different muscle injuries and only returned one week ago.
- Martinez returned one week ago too, after totalling his knee and having been out 9 months
- Lahm returned in March after 4 months with a broken ankle, is still noticably worse than before
- Schweini didn't play first half of the season, returned only to get injured again, fit again since 10 days.
- Thiago returned in March after 13 months out, is supposed to be our midfield hope now.
- Pizarro played 350 minutes in all competitions this season, struggled with muscle injuries all season and returned to the squad a couple of weeks ago
- Lewandowski had his nose and jaw broken, along with a concussion, 5 days ago, obviously hasn't trained since even though he might be cleared to play with a mask.
The players unaffected by injury are Neuer, Bernat, Boateng, Dante, Rafinha, Alonso, Götze, Müller, Rode, Weiser, Gaudino.
Add to that 3/4 fit Lahm, Thiago and Benatia, 1/2 fit Schweini and a possible 1/4 fit Lewandowski lol, I don't think anyone would expect that to be a squad that can match the CL contenders.
It's laughable to assume without Robben, Ribery, and now even Lewa we have anywhere near the quality upfront of MSN.
That's quite simply it.
Now I didn't think injuries should have been a problem in overcoming an opponent like Porto. They weren't a problem either in winning the league. We are able to play well as a team.
Barca is a different thing.
I'm confident we could, on a good day, have outperformed them with most, or at least more, of our quality on board.
As things stand, I'm afraid we'd need a very good day and they a not so good one simultaneously.

Glad it's not Kassai. The idiot lets everything go. Still remember Valencia assaulting our players all night in the 2011 final and getting his first booking around the 90th minute. And also gifting Bayern 4 illegal goals in 2013. Pos referee.
