Re: Liverpool vs. Blackburn
That team won't beat Blackburn, Ifty.
There are two weeks between the ManU and Arsenal games anyway, so it's not really a problem. The problem is that at home Blackburn will have a better chance of winning.

Actually the replay is after the Arsenal game, 4th and 7th of April. There's an int. break after the ManU game.

I really don't care. I almost had a heart-attack when Coutinho started limping.Art Morte wrote:That team won't beat Blackburn, Ifty.

Re: Liverpool vs. Blackburn
I think after the difficult run and doing well during that time, we were really lazy in the final third. We just did not try that one bit extra which could have resulted into a goal. Not that I wanna fault players for it because the last run has been really exhausting for us, I am just glad that such a kind of draw did not happen against some EPL team. And mind you, this draw just means that we will give our 200% against Swansea and the teams after that. Also the replay does not have such a bad timing imo.

The replay falls between United at Anfield and Arsenal at the Emirates, So basically the season is defined in that *bleep* week now.Mignolet
Johnson-Toure-Lovren
Manquillo-Gerrard-Allen-Enrique
Markovic-Balotelli
Borini
You want us eliminated Ifty ?
well, thankfully the replay is a month away and after all the Man U/Arsenal games.
hope injuries are all cleared up by then. We're better away from home at this cup it seems. good to get the bad game out of the system and now go full flight at Swansea in 8 days

No, I very well want us to win the FA Cup. But not at the expense of our chances to finish T4.Natalie Portman wrote:iftikhar wrote:Nishy wrote:We are arguably the bluntest team in attack this season in the top4 competitors.

Is it! Well, then we may risk (some of) our key players.

^ FA Cup is a bigger priority than T4 imo. We need a trophy to lift the clib

You can still go for both and pull it off - besides, it is Blackburn, don't give up on the cup. If Brendan's second half record and your death run is anything to go by, you should all be pretty chill despite the extra game.
Also, I think Liverpool needs consistency in being in the top 4 in the grand scheme of things. One title challenging season and you want to settle for odd domestic trophies, when you should be building on it?

Some of you guys are going on like we have chelsea at the Bridge FML, of we fail once more to put a championship team about 26 places below us, then we need some revaluation. 1 bad game in a run of a few isn't the end of the world.

This was 15th game in 51 days and the physical & mental exertion took its toll. We didn't play badly, we simply weren't at our best.

No!
Either April 7th or 8th.
It's gonna be after Swansea, Man Utd, and Arsenal.

Re: Liverpool vs. Blackburn
It feels almost like a new round when it's a month away lulz.
I'm getting old, I feel like I actually need the international break that starts after the United game. It's been just soooo much Liverpool since Christmas x)
