I feel as if Pirlo will give you the game, just like he lost us some points in previous ones...

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
Juventus starting XI: Buffon, Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra, Marchisio, Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal, Tevez, Morata.
Thankfully Morata is starting over Llorente
BVB: Weidenfeller - Piszczek, Sokratis, Hummels, Schmelzer - Gündogan, Sahin - Mkhitaryan, Reus, Aubameyang - Immobile
Immobile starting. Great news for Juve

Can't wait for the Serie A is crap/awful/past it articles and comments if BVB beat Juve.
A team in the Bundesliga relegation zone beating a team that's been dominating Serie A for the past 4 years.

Tbf that Dortmund team hasn't really been available most of the season.

Juve have lost like 2 matches since 2004 in the CL at home lol
They are one of the heavyweights for me. Better midfield than Dortmund and a better defence. Just need to finish their chances and they should win.

Tbf they missed a lot of those years so it's a misleading stat.

Juventus should win, but with Reus back and BVB starting to recover from early season form it's kind of a trap game.

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
They won't.
Morata has been fantastic. Linking well with Tevez so far and doing everything Llorente fails to do. Basically created both goals.
Disappointed with Vidal though. Playing quite poorly.
Dortmund edged the first half but their goal came due to Chiellini's error. Otherwise it should have been 2-0. But then, Juve's first goal was due to Weidenfeller's error

Very good 2nd half by Juve. Should have finished 3-1.
Pogba, Tevez and Morata(MOTM) were fantastic.
Worry is that Dortmund away goal. 2nd leg will be amazing. Dortmund only need a 1-0 win to go through. However their defence is pretty poor.

Yeah but at least we made some action, we scored from counter. They received a gift

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
Terrible second half. Terrible, shocking refereeing.
Pogba with a two footed tackle from behind which injures Pisczek, no yellow.
Vidal with 2 red worthy fouls, he doesn't get a yellow for the first so he'll do another one of course.
That Peyreira fellow should have been off too.
seriously WTF
Hummels is a walking calamity these days, and BVB NEED to get a top goalkeeper in summer.
Juve are a joke tbh.

wtf is this shit, even dortmund players didn't remotely suggest anything was wrong with the reffereeing
Hell Tevez got chopped down in prime Pirlo FK range at 0-0 and the reff told him to stfu

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
They both sucked. I saw nothing redeeming from Juve, even Pogba and Vidal sucked, and I'm a huge fan of both, despite the latter being notoriously dirty.
Their goals, both of them, were the result of a level of defending from Dortmund that was just... Well, they just didn't seem to want to bother. This wasn't worthy of the UCL. Not even of the Bundesliga. This was shit.
That being said, Gündogan and Sahin in midfield I did like, as well as Reus.
Mkichtarian couldn't be any worse if he tried to prove all of you right, and Aubameyang, while decent, just is too one-dimensional.
Brightest spot for Dortmund was Ginter TBH, the only defender to put any fight in it.
So two teams met, both played bad football. Juve played worse, but Dortmund made the worse individual mistakes. All in all Juve are lucky to get the win, and Dortmund are lucky that they didn't concede the third.
I really hope both teams learn a lot in the coming three weeks, because I'm not watching this shit again.

Ref just didn't whistle at anything. The worst fouls he just let play on were the ones by Vidal and Peyrera, yes, but Dortmund did initiate like 4 counters by fouling Tevez or Pogba, so it's not like they were universally at a disadvantage.

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
I have zero complaints about the reff favouring either team
Imo he was too lenient on both sides, but he played absolutely no part in the game. Shitty mistakes did.

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
The worst individual mistake clearly was Chiellini, else Dortmund wouldn't have their away goal.
The referee was absolutely shocking. Started off by not giving 2 clear fouls by BVB inthe first minutes, then let Juve's players get away with murder.
Vidal's stamp on Reus and his scissor tackle from behind with no intention for the ball both were dark orange.
Appalling refereeing.

Agreed. Though I'd rather have a ref being too lenient, especially in a match like this, which wasn't all that aggressive, a few isolated incidents aside, than one of those card-happy morons.
It's always struck me as vastly unfair in knockout tournaments if one of the teams that progresses gets a card-happy ref, and has to face a team with their best XI with like 3 people suspended for no good reason.
