Despite his lack of interest in making the journey to Old Trafford, there is no doubt that the 30-year-old veteran is keen on a move elsewhere after his contract talks broke down.

However, he also revealed that he could see out the final year of his contract on Merseyside in the hope of attracting potential suitors next summer. That idea was thrown up whilst the towering defender ridiculed the offer from Liverpool.
“I think that contracts like this are offered to players who are much older than me or the players who have had some health problems. The contract which has been offered to me is unacceptable, so I did not sign it.

Shackell in? I mean, he was only at Burnley so they were always going to concede alot. But Shackell was the best defender in the league last season like Lovren so why not?

We'll, he doesn't play for a club you scout often, so he probably hasn't been considered by Liverpool.

I think Higuain, icardi, Auba, Son, Jackson are realistic but all of them seem to be difficult and not everyone is a proven one.

Marty, including Sterling in the deal is the only option to get Dezeko. But that will not a wise move to sell Sterling to any club in EPL.

But just in case, we sell Sterling to City, I would take Jovetic+Dzeko+20m :coffee:

How good is this guy? Seems like he would be cheaper than Clyne.

I don't think either Dzeko or City will resist much if we are interested. He is their 3rd choice (1533 mins) striker. I feel City would prefer Jovetic (when fit) over him.
