Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
We do need a FB, but only a quality one for right price. I will feel scammed (again) if we pay a penny over 10m for Clyne.

El Cujo wrote:You guys speak like you watch Soton week in and week out. Tell me more about their system (you know the same system over two different coaches the last two years) and how it works.
You claim to know every single player that's linked to us. Every young kid is a "world class talent" because you once saw them kick a ball when they were 7 years old.
You have a new "ideal" team every second week.
Yeah, I don't think you're the best person to accuse others of this. lmao
Natalie Portman wrote:Clyne is an absolute atrocious player who got benched by Chambers and can't get a game ahead of Phil Jones for England.
ZERO assists last year.
At fault for both Southampton goals they conceded at Anfield vs. us. He'd look like Krokamp in Rodgers' set up without protection of 2 DMs.
He's SHITE.
You're really going to bring the English NT into this? I mean, that's absurd in the first place, and then you remember who's managing them to really bring it home.
Clyne was injured when Chambers started to play as a full back. Nice try though.
He'd be a good signing.

So Red Alert and El Cujo are on the same page ? We must sign this Clyne kid just for the sake of this .

On the same page for now.
It won't be long before Clyne is a "world class talent" fit enough to replace Dani Alves in his prime.

I always find it odd when you try to make things up
Can you provide examples of your fabrications? You seem to worry more about what I say than actually knowing anything about soccer.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
It is really sad that till now we had only Benteke rumours for a striker position, i mean concrete rumours. Does anyone think same, that after BR's review with the owners, Benteke rumours have boiled down if it really has happened, does it mean that this transfer committee was actually messing up with BR's wishes for players to be signed really interesting things folding up
If anyone in the class of Higuain is not available, i think we should not sign a striker at all and we should wait till Jan window imo. I know it sounds crazy but that is my opinion . Because most likely in the next season we will have Studge, Ings, Origi and Balo.

Gee, Helmer, you're starting to worry me. "Let's not sign a right-back. Let's not sign a striker, either".
What's next? "Guys, if we sack Rodgers, do we really need a manager at all?"

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
I would rather hold on to the money than splashing that on a panic buy. I know Ings or Origi don't really sound awesome, but at least we will have the money to spend it on someone worthy.
If we can't buy some prime striker, how does the likes of Dzeko, Mandzukic, Llorente sound???
I think we should really test OL and Lacazette with a mega bid.

I would gladly take Dzeko, like I've said before. Llorente isn't good enough, Madzukic won't be interested in us.

Art you bald handsome Arse, please name me two very good strikers(anywhere near the class of Higuain) who would realisitically want to come to us and we can afford them and their wages

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
Maybe someone like Icardi or Berardi might not be bad shouts, if Berardi will still not get pulled into the first team with Juventus and Icardi doesn't ruin the room.
Also I'd mention Jackson Martinez again, but apparently he's going to Milan. Surely if they can draw a player like him we could also.

Tier 1
Carroll
Tier 2
Dzeko, Benteke, Walcott*, Heung-min Son, Aybameyang.
*I don't think Walcott wants to leave Arsenal for us, but if Sterling went the other way, Walcott might move out of the way.

Son isn't a prolific scorer and he isn't a 'striker' either. He can be an upgrade over Raheem though.Art Morte wrote:HEIL MEIN REDS wrote:Art you bald handsome Arse, please name me two very good strikers(anywhere near the class of Higuain) who would realisitically want to come to us and we can afford them and their wages

He is a prolific scorer for a winger and I believe he could play striker in our 'keep it on the ground' style.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
Another guy I would like to see some interest in is Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco if we are going to be turfing Sterling. I like what I've seen from him (CL, Belgium and some L1) and he seems to be touted as one of the better young talents in France right now.

Helmer
Good nickname for Heil Morty
As far as the strikers mentioned in this page
Would take: Higuain, Lacazette, Mandzukic, Icardi, Jackson, Aubamayang, Walcott, Heung-Min Son, Carrasco
Would NOT take: Benteke, Dzeko, Llorente, Carroll, Berardi (haven't watched him at all, seems like Borini 2.0)

Liverpool's too good for him.
We need Benteke. Or Jay Rodriguez.
