In any case, he's never been better.
In his last 10 matches he has 11 goals, 4 assists and 6 MotM. :O

yeah they looking good Kagawa and Auba should have finished at least finished one of those chances imo. Timon, I am confused whether those were flukes or good judgements by him which made the finishing more difficult for dortmund players

Timon Wellenreuther is from the same goalkeeper school as Manuel Neuer and it shows. He's just lacking experience.HEIL MEIN REDS wrote:yeah they looking good Kagawa and Auba should have finished at least finished one of those chances imo. Re: The Bundesliga Thread
If my amateur-level analysis of Dortmund is correct (they sucked because injuries ruined their season start, which ruined their mentality, which in turn made them lose yet more, resulting in a downward spiral), this will have blown the lid off any mental blocks they might have retained. And despite the Pisczek-injury, they have no basically all their main men back in shape, and should drop very few points in the remaining season.
Domestic analysts have made the point that Dortmund lack one or two star players, to which I only half agree. Lewandowski and Barrios sucked too, at first, and given time Immobile might be enough. That being said, if Dortmund end up regaining a spot in the league that lets them play in Europe, they should probably cough up the cash for an attacker that actually does posses a world class instinct for finishing.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Well, Dortmund make their star players. I have confidence that Ciro Immobile will soon start scoring, too. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang needed a little time, too, but now he's looking fine. And by keeping Marco Reus they did a lot for the mood in the team, too. Now they just need to look for a proper "modern" goalkeeper.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Should be possible to steal Zieler, right?
They obviously missed the chance to pounce on MAtS, though I think he would've been overpriced purely by Barcas interest.
Leno would be the obvious choice, but snatching a player with a proper running contract from Leverkusen is expensive as balls.
What about Langerak? Maybe a bit too traditional, eh?
I'm personally a big Trapp fan, but he's also not that modern in his style, and I frankly don't want him leaving my beloved SGE.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I don't think they'll be able to get Bernd Leno. Ron-Robert Zieler is an option and he is currently trying to copy Manuel Neuer a bit with his excursions out of the box.
Mitch Langerak is a very good number two keeper, but I really don't think he has a much higher ceiling than what he showed so far. He will be quite good, but I don't see him as world class potential. He's be a great Number one for a mid table team, but I'm not sure about him constantly performing at CL level.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Leno would be obviously the player they want, but they realistically can't get him.
To my mind, Zieler is the next best thing, and Hannover's nose-dive should only help.

AFAIK Ron-Robert Zieler has a release clause, which would make things even easier.
