Maybe you guys forgot Cesc, Vermaelen, Song, taking 6 transfer windows to find a centerback, not signing a right back in case of Alves left and a million loans...but I didnt.
Yet Masch was once again the cb in a cl final
You guys just need to accept Masch is a GOAT cb and the best in barcashistory (:

I have read that Barca's elections still happen on paper. So by when can we expect to get to know the results?

Bart is walking this like Jesus walking on water.
Reminder: The voting socis are super conservative geezers, Laporta is more popular in the Internet.
The treble sealed it for Fart. Congrats.

Jordo Majo is not that far behind Farto. What's he offering that has people getting behind him?

Re: 2015 Presidential Elections
Bart is a muppet... Laporta's got it imo. He's yet to unveil his manifesto, right?
If Joan intends to keep Lucho then he should be easily winning imo.

Where is this poll from? Is this conducted among Barca members?
If I understand right, every 'soci' (i.e. club member) can vote? That's some 170k+ people all over the world?
In that case you would have to assume an incumbent who oversaw a sovereign treble win should have an advantage
does anyone know the make up of the socis? Surely not all, or most, of them, are partial to, or involved with, the political inside frontlines of Laporta vs Rosell/Bart etc?

Re: 2015 Presidential Elections
There are around 160.000 socis and 85% of them are catalan. Most of them are not involved directly with Rosell/Bart vs Laporta, these have a core of collaborators which is at most some hundreds of people.

Re: 2015 Presidential Elections
Just a reminder that Nike is suspected of bribing several major officials in Brazil and that Rosell has built his reputation on being a Nike executive with many Brazilian connections. It doesn't seem farfetched to think that he had a role to play in those bribes himself, whether he just knew about them or actively gave them. Especially after the Neymar transfer fiasco.

There are actually many articles linking rosell to those, and I even think he has some oppened cause in Brasil.

Laporta officially running in the elections. Says he never been as ready as he is now and claims he wants Barca to be all about La Masia, Cruyff, UNICEF and Catalunya

Re: 2015 Presidential Elections
Yea i think all the guys running have said or hinted they are gonna cut the ties with that Qatar crap and get it off of our shirt. I've refused to purchase any shirt since the Qatar deal was struck
Anybody have links to Laporta and his declaration? I would like to read what he is offering and what the other candidates are offering

Between Laporta's links with Mendes, Rahola, and wanting to make Puyol as his SD. I'm leaning towards #TeamBenedito atm.

At this point all I know is he wants to do away with Qatar sponsor, and want Monchi as his SD.
For all Barca related news..you can refer to --> http://grup14.com/features. They 've already featured some of the presidential candidates, the rest of them should be up soon.

Re: 2015 Presidential Elections
What exactly the big deal with Qatar sponsorship? I mean I know fans were mildly disappointed because Barca is supposed to be that angel club that donates their shirt space to UNICEF instead of taking money, but it's the 21st century and everyone needs money. Refusing to buy shirts seems a bit extreme. Or am I missing something?

True! But, this all happened when Rosel came on board. So you cant really tarnish the clubs reputation permanently. Let's just call it a form, and we already have a plenty of class. Just an example, Mou made madrid look like thugs, but now they are not and they haven't been historically so they turned it around quickly.
