Great little sci-fi flick A little predictable though, guessed the whole thing within 30 mins.
Yeah smart, good little film.
I didn't guess it at all, just near the end when they made it clear.
Think it is one of those which you have to watch twice to really appreciate the film.
also agree with the rating.

I think Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my favorite actors now. Nightcrawler, Donnie Darko, Prisoners, Enemy, End of Watch, this guy is really good at what he does. Split between him and Keaton for best acting performance of the year for what I have seen so far.
I told you ffs

Watched predestination. Wasn't a big fan of it tbh. Very predictable overall, the way the director had chosen the narrative made it all clear from the start. Still a good movie. 3-3.5/5 Would be my rating.

Fury
Man......
So, so, so good!
Outstandingly gripping and intense from start to finish. The acting is top notch, and it has emotional scene after emotional scene - and that's exactly what this war film has over something like Black Hawk Down. My favourite scene, the one that stood out for me, is the one where they have a slight break, and go and eat with the 2 German ladies. Acting in that scene from each actor was unbelievable.
Brad Pitt
Shia LaBeouf
Michael Pena
Jon Bernthal
Logan Lerman
Hope Bernthal continues to play in such good movies instead of wank like Snitch.
I much recommend.
My rating: 8.6/10

Watch Zodiac
It's on my Netflix list. Don't know how a Fincher movie starring Gyllenhaal, Ruffalo and RDJ is not that well known. How does it rank among other Fincher movies?

Top tier imo. Only movie not top tier is probably panic room and Benjamin Buttons imo.
Tier 1: Se7en, Social Network, Gone Girl, Zodiac.
Tier 1.5: House of Cards
Tier 2: The Game, Fight Club.
Tier 3: Bejamin Buttons, Panic Room.
Tier disowned by Fincher: Alien 3.

Of course below Fight Club and Se7en. Better than The Social Network and Benjamin Button.
Zodiac is long, but totally engaging. Last hour or so is really good when Gyllenhaal gets more screentime.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Zodiac is legit. M69 I don't know how you can say it's not well known when really a lot of the goat film fanatics have seen it.
Not everyone is slacking brah.
But with regards to Gyllenhaal, I have downloaded Prisoners, End of Watch, Source Code, Brothers, Zodiac, Jarhead, The Day after Tomorrow, Brokeback Mountain for a massive rewatch of his films after my finals.
I've also got Proof and Rendition. I haven't seen these two yet so will probably watch them first.
Wasn't a big fan of Love and Other Drugs and Prince of Persia so not gonna bother with those two. And saw Donnie Darko and Enemy quite recently so gonna skip on those for the time being.

Not well known as in not well known in general especially in comparison with other Fincher films.
By the way a lot of Sony movies including Fury has leaked. Available in most torrent sites.
Speaking of most anticipated movie of 2015, I got legit shivers down my spine when I saw The Avengers trailer on the cinema before Interstellar. Holy shit that experience will be something else.
I watched 3 movies in the cinema during Thanksgiving break Birdman, Interstellar, Nightcrawler. I am 100% watching Hobbit and I'll try to watch Whiplash and Foxcatcher to end the year too. Then it's 2015 which is going to be a ridiculous year in term of cinema hall movies.
And Fight Club is my favorite movie of all time. That Tier above 1 for me ffs.

Social Network.. better?
Fight Club is on another level compared to anything Fincher has made.
Amazing directing. Smart. Incredible lines and quotes. Two amazing performances. Cult hit. Pop culture effect. Has philisophical meaning to it.
It's just sooooooooooo great, I dunno how you can just sit there and put it as a 'tier 2' film.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
You don't have to explain Fight Club to me. I've analyzed and written about it in school. Don't think it's as special as everyone makes it up to be. Pop culture effect and cult hit status doesn't have any effect on how good a movie is to me.
Social Network is one of the best movies in the last 10 years for me. Amazing performances also. And I haven't seen a movie encapsulate our generation as great as that one did. It's the one movie I would show to an alien to show them what the world is like. Love everything about it.

Fight Club is Fincher's best film for me.
And I also think Benjamin Button is overhated (not in here in general). It was a beautiful twisted journey of life carried by Brad Pitt in one of the best performances oh his career. Sublime work by Fincher and Pitt.

I used that as one of the reasons why I found it shocking that you haven't seen it yet. I have seen Fight Club, therefor that argument is not really valid.
Also not everyone, I can find a lot of people that share my opinion on David Fincher's movies.
