Re: The Movie House - Part 4
According to The Wrap, a number of actors are now being eyed for the role of the young Scott Summers and Jean Grey in 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse. Both Chloe Moretz (The Equalizer) and Elle Fanning (Maleficent) are said to be among those who have met with director Bryan Singer recently, though no official offers have been made and a number of other names are still in the mix. Among them are Academy Award nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit). On the Cyclops side of things, three actors have also emerged as possibly being in the running, and they are Ben Hardy (Eastenders), Charlie Rowe (Red Band Society) and Timothee Chalamet (Homeland).

Watched Accepted again(after like 4 years)
Man I love this film. The idea behind it might be flawed but it's such a powerful movie in a simplistic manner that you can't help but think about it and enjoy it for what it is.
It's not an American pie, it's not a silly comedy which makes no sense, it's not a film that sells on nudity. It's moderate on every cliche thing while maintaining it's freshness which makes it such a great film.
Although I couldn't help think that Michael Cera would have been better than Justin Long. Specially with Jonah Hill in it too.
8/10

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
I think they need to start thinking about wrapping up this current run of X-Men movies and pausing for a little while before rebooting.
A nice way to do that would be to have a Death of Wolverine movie after X-Men: Apocalypse.

Starred Up
Directed by David Mackenzie
Starring Jack O'Connell, Ben Mendelssohn, Rupert Friend
British prison crime film. Despite the difficulty of picking up the accent from the start, I thought this film was very engaging. It stayed true and realistic, nothing out of the ordinary just pure prison drama and at the middle of it is a son and father who have remained estranged over the years.
Thought Jack O'Connell looks a lot similar to Wilshere.
Anyway, I much recommend this. No dull moments at all.
My rating: 7.9/10

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
anyone watched Boyhood ? The movie of the Year by a mile. Indie King Linklater will run away with the Oscars for best direction come next year for its epic 12 year filming. Quite an achievement.
And the film has 99% fresh tomatoes in Rottentomatoes. Another achievement. A must watch. 9.5 out of 10 my rating.

Boyhood didn't impress me that much to be honest. Much of a gimmick movie, only getting praise because of concept instead of entermaint and story.

One of the great actors of the late '70 generation, love him in everything so far, and I can't wait for his portrayal.

Wait wat
wat
seroiously wat..
Pls.
You're lucky though, skip episode 1-3. Don't need those pieces of shit. Just watch the original trilogy, since they're the most recent story wise. And you don't have to waste your life watching the others.

Only found love in film in the last 2-3 years and I think I've done a pretty good job in catching up to a certain point.
Will do! Thanks for shortening the list

Well I'm not criticising as much as I'm shocked, since Star Wars is probably the biggest pop culture movie of all time, and it's a big part of the culture in the western world. Everyone quotes this movie, even people who haven't watched it. Love them so much.

Yeah I know. When I was about 10, I used to think: Star Wars, LOTR. What total garbage this is. That's why I probably never watched when they got showed on TV. But I of course grew older, got more wise and watched that GOAT of a trilogy which is LOTR

The Fault in Our Stars
Not your typical, cheesy romantic comedy.
Actually, quite good. Throws a bit of philosophy at the audience. And has very good acting to it, which makes for emotional experience. And it's realistic.
My rating: 8.2/10

The movie was made as a fun cheesy action movie. And you're one of the first to say it didn't fully succeed in achieving that.
7,8 imdb.

Can't wait to see it tbh.
