RealGunner wrote:Agreed. Then maybe a tease in BvS as well for the hype. Would be a great moment and get people excited.
Also that animated film, Is that Batman: Assault on Arkham? Need to watch that.
Yeah, Batman not main character though, he's more of a supporting. The lead is Deadshot. Loved it though. Deadshot is an amazing character imo. Also it's a very hard R rated animated movie. Never seen that graphic sex scenes in them

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Yea I like Deadshot. Will watch it soon.
I am assuming it's in a different universe to Justice League: War? There is a new justice league animated film coming out soon I think, Justice league: Throne of atlantis, obviously on Aquaman. Sequel to War which you said you've seen. Really looking forward to that. Keep an eye on it.

I would assume they're in the same universe tbh. Everything since Flashpoint is the same right? Will probably make sense once they release more of them.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
I am actually not sure. I don't think they are linear because Flash Paradox had a different batman while War had a different one.
But then War could be set years before flash paradox(would make sense as Aquaman was in it but he wasn't in war).
I haven't seen the earlier DC films that I need to watch. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights and Justice League: Doom are the two main ones. Rest might be hard to find.

I would assume that JL: War was the first of the new universe. Only thing that would make sense right now I think. It's kind of hard to figure out the animated universe
Would guess RO knows this, since he's the expert.

Assault On Arkham is set in the Arkham video games universe. It takes place between Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum.

Also, this Leto as Joker news is really blowing up, everyone is picking it up. Huge scoop to get if it's true.
Here's the original: http://www.thewrap.com/jared-leto-eyed-to-play-the-joker-in-wbs-suicide-squad-exclusive/
Ryan Gosling was initially sought to play The Joker but he was unwilling to sign a deal with options for multiple movies, according to one insider.

Think they will go for their own new cast tbh and get someone else as Bane.

Won't be Bane because nothing from TDK trilogy has anything to do with the new films

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
So I watched Interstellar last night.
WTF was that??
WTF was that??
- Spoiler:
- The ending was just too much for me. They built it up well but it was a garbage ending. It seems like people are rating it high because everyone else likes it and they are afraid to make up their own mind. No where near a 9.2 it has on imdb at the moment. Liked most of the movie until McConaughey went into the black hole and the crazyness started. Him actually living after all that shit was even worse. Final verdict is disappointment after all the hype.

Thought it was very good. It was just way too ambitious for its own good. There was only really two really developed roles in the film.
- Michael Caine:
- How the hell was he still alive, he's invincible... must've been 110 in the scene he died
- Cameo spoiler:
- Matt Damon role pulled me out of it for a time, thought he was annoying
Was some plot conveniences also that didn't fit with me.
- Ending:
- The whole Love, clock thing, and the room had me wat'ing
gave it 4/5 as a whole
story 3.5/5
Visual 5/5
This video prety much gives my thoughts about the movie.
Still recommend it to anyone.

Yeah visuals are 10/10 for me as well.
Story 7/10 at best
This is one film that you have to watch in the cinema. It's definitely not a watch at home sort of film. You will be disappointed even further if you wait to watch it at home.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
lol I guess my main point was that after all the hype and month of waiting for this, it was way way underwhelming as a whole. To someone who appreciates the story far over the visuals it's essential that I get some good entertainment in that regard.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
So recently I've been literally obsessed with analysing the movie Fight Club. What fascinates me the most about this film is the ideas and philosophical terms it brings forward. I've made a few quotes from this movie my Whatsapp status for the last 2 weeks or so now, people must think I'm going crazy.
Anyway, there's one line that I can't quite grasp, or I'm not quite sure what Tyler means with it.
"Self-improvement is masturbation. Now, self-destruction..."
First of all, why does he stop. Is it up to the individual watching this to fill in the blank as he sees it? Or is there a common reasonable answer for this blank?
And on the first part. Does he mean that self-improvement is all about the individual "pleasing" himself? And that self-improvement is not really necessary in the grand scheme of things in life?

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
All these "you didn't think Interstellar was a masterpiece because you didn't understand it" comments are seriously giving me cancer...
1. I did understand it.
2. It really wasn't that good.
3. If I found a girl that was as loyal to me, as Nolan's fanboys is to him, I'd be creeped out big time.
People calling other people stupid, despite them not being mature enough to form their own opinions The internet
Just stumbled upon this movie last night. A Lance Armstrong biopic. Can't wait to watch this one, Ben Foster looks totally like him, and his story is a very compelling one, with a very morally ambiguous feeling to it.
