Ok. Unfortunately this means the average age is a bit skewed as some clubs rotate more and others less.

It means what it means... avg age of the players on the pitch. Seems very solid to me. It's better than including guys who never play.

Well to include 2min time waste subs is not exactly better than including players who don't play at all.

It's weighted by mins played... sorry, didn't mention that lol.

I honestly think some of these lists are skewed by one or two old players.

For example, it is skewed by Drogba and Terry for us and if Schwarzer got gametime, ours would jump a year older.

Remove those three players and you'd drop like 3-4 years off our age.

Ultimately the average age is unimportant. Each player should be judged on their merits no matter how young or old they are. In terms of building a squad, it's essential that there's a mix of young and old players so that there's a succession plan in place when the veterans move on.
