I am very eager to know how the freelance thing changes from team to team.

What I mean is, I see that the Spurs run their plays and when it breaks down into this nice motion offence.

However, I dont want to see the same thing for OKC or the Knicks for example.

OKC only have single/double pin down for KD and Westbrook/KD pick and pop with Ibaka. I dont want to see this smooth running offence with them. You have to create the balance, OKC talent their way on offence while Spurs use constant 5 man motion.

On another level I want to see the Knicks naturally run the triangle. Its similar to the way the Spur offence runs, in that its a constant thing but the angles and the cuts are different. Its also important because there are no plays in the triangle and you just run the thing and react to what happens.

Can't wait ffs, if we're about five getting this game on ps4, we ought to make an online league (assuming it's still a feature). Probably my favourite mode.

NBA2k revolutionized sports gaming, by far the best sports series I've ever played. Nothing EA ever made comes close.

Apparently each team has it's own core set so in theory Knicks should run the triangle by default.

At least as I understand it, only problem is say for the Cavs as an example does anyone how their offence will be run yet?

Will Blatt run what he did in Europe or adjust it and seeing as the game comes out on the 7th it's kinda impossible to add it in before launch.

So considering that either 2K keep on top of it all and update the game regularly or give us some heavy customization options.

Well if they are smart, they would check out what they were running in the summer league. Its very specific and I believe coach Blatt will use the exact same thing.

It is similar what he did in Europe im told so I expect that to be a thing for him. Its basically some kinda motion offence with some triangle stuff in their.

Looking at the video again, I noticed the CPU with the Thunder did run the Westbrook pick and pop twice in a row so I am guessing that isnt a set play but their freelance offence. So thats good.

I saw in that video one bad and one good peice of A.I from the CPU, which is something I often look for.

When czar was defending the Spurs and sitting on Ginobli's left hand to stop a play, he drove hard right and did a nice pull up jumper. Thats important, the AI recognising if there is a chance to counter a user's defensive techniques.

The bad I was when the CPU was the Spurs vs the Mavs. They ran that amazing loop player they run for Parker, which was great and all. But before that Parker was out on top for Dirk and Duncan was in good position in the post with Ellis defending him. I would have loved to see them throw the ball down low to Duncan in that situation or at least let Parker go at Dirk in the quick iso. Nitpicking and asking for perfection though.

If I'm going to nitpick about is probably the Parker and Dirk part.

That's a mean mismatch lol, in real life Parker would take advantage of that all day long. Whether it's passing it to Duncan in the post like you say or just blowing by Dirk and forcing a double at the very least.

As soon as I get a PS4 I'm getting this.. Everyone will be playing with the Cavs though

Should answer a few questions about the gameplay as all we have seen is snippets so far.

Just watched the 2ksports live stream, Bulls vs Lakers with some producers there.

Two players kinda suck and dont really play in the halfcourt so it was hard to really see the freelance stuff that much but the game looks really good.

He's so crap. Both of them were crap in fact. They were those kinds of guys who dont actually know about basketball, you can just tell by their susprise or lack of there of, of certain things.

Wondering why Boozer is hitting jumpers, shooting jumpers with Randle, wondering why Dunleavy cant finish at the rim, trying to back down in the post with Noah etc

In the 2nd half, the guy who choose the Lakers literally gave the ball to Kobe every play. Only time someone else scored was  an offensive rebound or one fast break lay-up with Nick Young.

Lakers will probably do that in real life tbf.

In all seriousness I liked how a transition dunk is not an almost automatic 2 points now

And it seemed less casual in general, also liked how many settings there seems to be out of time outs etc.

I originally heard Crew mode was coming back to 2k15 but only on 360 and ps3. Glad they decided to bring something similar to PS4/1.
