Javier Chicharito Hernandez discussion

This signing disgusted me when I first heard about it but now that he is here I will support him.

If he works hard and tries to make use of his limited minutes (We all know that Carlo signed him to protect Benzema) then who knows. He sounds like a nice dude and he does have a natural goal scoring ability which is always useful.

Awful footballer.

Well almost everyone in the team was awful today. I am not sure why we always single out strikers.  One striker won a penalty and the other came on and scored. What one game and Javier is an awful footballer?. LOL .  Tomorrow Benz doesn't score in few matches and he will be derided?

@Chad4401 - Rightly points competition for forwards sometimes doesn't help. Madrid's problem is that-  they want a center forward, but they want CR7 to score all the goals and at the same time expect the forward to score as many goals. I am not sure if this a realistic expectation. Like it or not - Benz is not an out and out striker(If that is a problen, we should have bought one - end of story), But he helps CR7 than any striker would do (by being selfless and with link up play). He doesn't score as much but their partnership delivers a decent tally of goals.

Javier was not bought as a competition to Benz. He gives a different /direct option to Carlo as he is unfortunately forced to find a style of play again . Javier needs time to fit in that elusive Madrid style of play. No doubt he is limited, but in the box he is decent and you can't ask for a better sub who is ready to sit on the bench.

As long as we play well as team, goals will come - doesn't matter from where. Today we played awfully so we didn't create enough chances and hence goals.
