why do these meaningless preseason commercial 'cups' always have to compensate for their irrelevancy with oversized huge trophies?

city fighting for title of 1st, arsenal for title of 4th, the rest for 2nd and 3rd, yup, sounds about like every season

I expect the following from my experience

Liverpool might do a spurs in europe. Maybe finish 6-7.
Brendan Rodgers would prove how tacticaly inept he is. Again I doubt his ability in europe and the second season is always going to be v.tough. they need a new plan. I doubt any of their signings are match winners. They lost suarez.

United will be in transition and they will have to fight.  They are undergoing a change in style. I expect lvg to make them finish in top4. This is mainly because they only have to concentrate on domestic football. A big factor which might give them to time to rebuild. We all saw how pool were energetic because they only had to concentrate on league last season.

Chelsea will fail because the same reason spain did. They will be caught between playing attack or defense. Plus I have doubts about their signings.  I think costa would be suspended alot. Fabregas injured alot and the main culprit for tactical chaos.in the end I expect squad trouble. Mainly from the likes of hazard and schrule. It's going to be bad for the club and we might even see mou sacked.

Arsenal have got what they missed a plan b and a squad which is together with a manager who is going for trophies.

City feel strong becuase of their squad depth leadership and pelgrini just has a feeling about him.
