El Gunner wrote:Excuse your sarcasm but Shaqiri is by no means a scrub, and it's debatable over which of him or Firmino is better.
There is no debate whatsoever over who is better between Shaqiri and Firmino. It's not even remotely close ATM.

Re: Who wants Shaqiri?
I donno why but Mancini seems to have lost trust with Shaqiri shorty after we got him. I dont think it has to do with his performance coz anyone would know he needs time, so its probably a dressing room issue, which is one of Mancio's weaknesses.
But to say that Mazzari is better is purely comical

Mancini is racking up a lot of miles between jobs. He will probably end up coaching in the MLS.

Surely he can find a better club. Very dissapointed by Inter for how they handled this. Scummy behaviour.

Shaqiri, Shaqiri
I never really knew that he could dance like this
He makes a man wants to speak Swiss (German)
Como se llana (si), bonita (si), mi casa (si, Shaqiri, Shaiqiri), su casa
SHAQIRI, SHAQIRI

He's waiting to get PL proven so he can play under Sir Brendan Rodgers.
Then he'll wait for a couple years and join a CL team afterwards I guess.

Re: Who wants Shaqiri?
Not sure what's all the fuss about Shaqiri . If he was good enough for Bayern , Bayern would simply have kept him , no matter what. To use an example with other young players , you don't see them losing Gotze because of playing time , or Thiago , basically anyone they really want to keep . They even keep Badstuber all this time and he's injured all the time. I am strongly inclined to believe if they deemed him worthy enough , they would do whatever necessary to keep him , regardless of how badly he wanted to start games . I remember Ribery wanted out way harder than him and for longer , but they kept him anyway . Because they knew what they had in Ribery .
Truth be told , even before their rise during the last 6-7 years , they've always kept to their promising younger players . At least the ones they deemed worthy to keep . Schweinsteiger , Lahm , later they got Kroos back , it's only Podolski and Hummels they let go that turned out to become important players . And Hummels was just another youngster at that time , at least Podolski had his moments by the time he had 11* aspirations.
Shaqiri wasn't anything special at Inter so far , injuries and what not. If Inter could make 18m from him , lol , of course they should sell him . Decent player but well worth selling for 18m or so .
And frankly , even at Bayern where he showed promise , i wasn't exactly impressed that much to begin with . No wonder Bayern sold him when he went asking to be a regular , as if he could replace any of Ribery or Robben . He's a fast winger with a good cross and decent dribbling . Woosh . Weiser will be better than him in a couple of years , especially after his transfer at Hertha , where he will get to play on a regular basis .
Next Quaresma , imo

Re: Who wants Shaqiri?
Bayern didn't want to sell him. He pretty much put in a transfer request for game time. lmao
He's somewhat struggled settling into a new league. This is pretty much his first time he's ever had consistent game time and he's struggled with injuries, too. Relax.
The kids a gun. In the same bracket as Sterling who's potentially going to City for 50m ffs.

lmao , kk . Way too cheeky for someone who lacks comprehension.
I never said nor implied Bayern wanted to sell him . In fact , i very clearly noted he went asking to be a regular and Bayern clearly weren't amused. I explained why Bayern didn't deem him worthy enough to keep him under these circumstances and why they didn't commit to him . Rest assured , if they actually thought they had a 'gun' on their hands , , he would still be there , regardless if his demands were met . As an example , although for different but then again , for much more important reasons , Bayern kept Ribery despite a much harder and longer tantrum in the past . Once again , because they knew what they had in Ribery , which clearly , the same cannot be said of Shaqiri .
No matter how badly he wanted out , if Bayern thought him that important , he would still be there.
Shaqiri was a decent depth option , with promise , but not that promising as to risk anyone in the 11 just because of him. And frankly , they took the right decision to sell him , despite the reasons that lead to his sale. He would never replace any of Ribery or Robben anyway , he will never be half the player they are .
As far as Inter is concerned , they really have no good reason to say no to 18m for him . By all means they can get Salah and they would have a better player in their hands . I am actually amused with the Shaqiri talk , just because he was at Bayern surely , where everyone carried themselves and everything he did more or less came to fruition , simply because of the team around him.
Shaqiri , a 23 year old fast winger with good crossing and decent dribbling , wow what a rare bread of a player . Silly Bayern who they let him go and also silly Inter who they would take 18m for a player who was mediocre and being injured half the time , what do they even know

I hope we take a punt on Shaqiri now that he's on the market. Straight swap with Salah.

"Robbery" is world class and arguably the best players in the world. He had no chance of breaking into the side. They always saw Shaq as one of their successors. He was highly rated at Bayern. He wanted to leave, Bayern let him go. You can keep trying to write long essays in an attempt to re-write history but that's all it comes down too; he wanted to leave and Bayern let him go. It doesn't mean he's not a talent lmao. Probably just bitter because he plays for your arch rivals in Inter.

It's a garbage news, but Mancini is mad for Salah so if Fiorentina stops to bother , we ' ll sign him. The clear target is Perisic+Salah. I dont' know if it is really convenient change the Swiss in place of Egyptian but there are matter between Mancini and Shaqiri and in these case the fans are powerless

Omid Zamani @OmldZamaniToday Inter coach Mancini will talk to #Shaqiri to convince him to join #StokeCity - #Shaqiri could change his mind.

Re: Who wants Shaqiri?
Stoke are being relegated but, apparently, he's 6th in the league for chance creation (impressive given the team he's in), still in his 20s and the RW market isn't exactly bustling with available talent.
I could see Pool or a return back to Italy on the cards
Maybe to Napoli to replace Callejon

Re: Who wants Shaqiri?
thinking about it properly, he would improve numerous teams
Juve: better than Cackdrado and Bernardmehsci
Pool: Good replacement for Salah
Inter: better than Candreva
Milan: better than Suso
I actually think that Bayern should be looking at him tbh @Hans probably wouldn't cost too much and he's Buli proven. Bring him home.

Re: Who wants Shaqiri?
Meh I remember him crap to Inter and I don't think he's improved in Stoke
Always said he is fraud.
He is easily worse than Suso , Cuadrado and Bernardeschi.
Candreva has scored 0 goals this year so I can't even say it. Otherwise the average Candreva is better too
