tbh, we really don't need anyone. If anything, since Lass wants to leave, get M'Villa and have him compete for 2 years. We have plenty of forwards and wingers.

doesnt mean much really,weve seen this before with Felipe Melo,Aguero etc....signs a deal then move a few months later

That's a different position, but yeah i agree, M'vila or Martinez. there is a clear opening in the roster with guys like Granero, Altintop, and maybe Lass leaving.

Add to that the fact that Martinez can be useful as playmaking CB. I wonder if M'vila can play a similar position.

No... but he can play fullback. He's done it several times before.

We don't need Martinez because he will be on the bench and for CB cover we have Varane. If Martinez is happy with rotation then that would be cool. Plus we have Khedira on the bench.

That was the best decision for him.As i said before,he will be 22 in 2014,still a youngster.Ronaldinho,for example,moved when he was 21/22 to PSG after massive hype.Thats the best age to make a transfer imo.Not only is it too early but also he is far from being guaranteed a starting spot,in almost any top club,but specially in Barca/Real.

Moving too early is just another reason why a lot of youngsters fail.

Ronaldinho was nowhere near this good at 19.

Considering that he has outgrown the league in Brazil already, it's the safest thing for him to do, but not the best move.

The only problem with this Ganso is that opportunities to play at a team like Real is unique. A lot of things may happen so you don't have the opportunity again. I respect his decision and understand his reasons. However, he better improve like he's projected to. If he reaches a plateau and it's lower than expected, he won't have the same opportunities.

Right now, teams are buying into potential. At 22, you have to be close to peak.

Risky for Nerman.

There's pros and cons tbh, but at the end of the day he didn't want to rush and we are not in desperate need.

Even so, moving to Europe for a smaller team that can afford it (PSG for example, no offense nick) with little pressure would have helped his devolopment too

If he doesn't want to rush it there are other European teams that can do it without the pressure, overall the decision just staying in Brazil is a bad move by him and will only hinder his devolopment imo

I dont even think he will stay there past next summer, i said it before i say it again. He is still playing for Santos, yes? yeah
