That's doom with an extra side of gloom, sprinkled with some dread.

As far as I know, Vidal hasn't found a way to stop the ageing process so yeah it's safe to say he's going to leave one day Mr. Detective

well, if you give me a persuading reason why Conte quit the job, apart from Vidal being sold against his will, I'd be interested.

we don't want Vidal, if that's what you're joke is about.
The guy had his chance, now he can pick his place among second tier clubs like Juve and Man Utd.

I could give you quite a few, including the one that everybody who's actually INVOLVED is saying I.E Conte was running out of energy/motivation and may take the National job

ok
but wasn't 'differences over squad planning' given as a reason publicly? Or was that just what people speculated.

nah more of a joke against Barca, we're more likely to buy a cm and convert him into a centerback rather then actually just buying a normal defender.
i.e mashcerano / song.

Re: #23 - Arturo Vidal
I would like to point out that even before his injury this guy had a very underwhelming second half of his season, and Juve seemed fine without him. I'm sure they'll survive his departure if it comes to that.

Nope that was all 100% bullshit
The actual quote made by our director was about Contes decision to leave NOT being about different opinions.

Conte didnt feel he could do better than the previous seasons, and perhaps also the pressure of failing in Europe got to him. He might have wanted Sanchez as a winger, but that would probably not happen unless they sold Vidal, and therefore he left.
I dont think Juve have the balls to sell Vidal and not sign a great player, which is too late now, unless they feel Morata alrdy is a star

As for the energy and motivation thing, didn't Conte extend his contract at the end of the season? So then he found out he lacks energy during holiday?
The NT job being up for grabs now surely has to do with it.
The transfer policy of the club surely has to do with it too.
If you think that isn't it, you're clutching at straws.
I feel for you though.

Re: #23 - Arturo Vidal
Utd a 2nd tier club?
Bayern are such an insular club it's unreal. All sponsors are German. Only sign players willing to take a step up or robbing other German talents by asking then to run contracts down.
The league is a cake walk, nobody dreams of winning a Bundesliga ffs. If Bayern were to face Madrid last year in the 2nd round their season would be over by January.
They're a flash in the pan. They'll go away like Ajax etc in due course

ffs
Conte has been heavily linked with the vacant Azzurri bench, so Mancini could well be left without a job anyway.
Nedved also revealed the reason Conte walked away was “fatigue. He was tired of everything. He’d already tried to resign in May, but we convinced him to think it over during the vacation.
“I absolutely understand where he’s coming from, as the way he performs his duties is exhausting. He’s a stickler and doesn’t miss a single detail.
“He works very intensively, so exhaustion was a natural result. We owe him so much, as in three years he won three Serie A titles.
“We will definitely miss him very much and it does weaken us, but we had to deal with the situation and we chose Allegri.”

Re: #23 - Arturo Vidal
Pavel Nedved assures Juventus “want to keep Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba,” but sided with Luis Suarez over Giorgio Chiellini.
The former player is now a member of the Board of Directors and spoke to Denik Sport in the Czech Republic.
“Anyone who thinks Antonio Conte resigned due to the transfer strategy is wrong. Our plan is clear: we want to keep all our best players, including Vidal and Pogba.
“We don’t want to sell anyone, especially not Vidal. Of course, if a particularly high offer arrived then we’d have to think about it, but we don’t want to sell our champions.
“We want to be competitive in the Champions League and the only sales will be players who are not part of our plans.”
There were reports in the Italian media last night that Vidal had put his house in Turin up for sale, fuelling rumours of a move to Manchester United.
