He's a no. 10 and plays as a no. 10, just like your avatar name, regis.

He retain ball while occasionally penetrating, both with his cerebral passing and his sudden burst out of nowhere.

He was involved in every goal. Dummy, corner, score.

It was a 10 rated game as a 10. Don't think 10 out of 10 should play as good as prime Messi.

Messi is a 8, 9, 10, 11 put together as one. A withdrawn slightly right-sided inside forward cum trequartista. That's why he was often followed by 3 men.

Looks a MUCH better player playing in the middle of the action, rather on the wing.

I was very critical of him at Porto, playing on the wing, his performances turned me off big time.

But playing in the middle, he looks truly talented.
