We'll be playing Man City, Milan, Roma, Olympiacos, and BVB in our pre-season then.

Anyway, bit uneasy about this. On one hand the team would be returning from US tour (jet-lag and what not) on other hand there's season opening few days later.

I think we may start like this:

There's not way we're gonna make that many changes. This is going to be the last preparation before Soton so Rodgers will probably play as close a starting team as possible.


Moreno instead of Flanno if we do sign him by then.

This has been the strongest pre-season we've ever hard in terms of quality of opponents.

I feel better than I ever have before a season opener. Think we'll twat Soton, not only because we're good but because they've sold everyone relevant that had any sort of quality. Also because this preseason has got us really really ready.

I don't think Markovic is ready.

Did Flanagan play in the US tour! Not much I suppose. And Manq is barely been signed. I think it will be Jonson and Enrique. If Marko isn't fit then, as Cujo said, Emre in a diamond.

Flanno got injured as well. Had to travel back with Agger I believe.

That settles it then. Don't think Moreno or Manq will play earlier than 2nd/3rd game.

I hope Lovren Sakho play as first team CB in this season...Can, Lovren may start whereas Manquilo and Lambert will be at least on the bench imo...

As long as Skrtel, Johnson, Allen don't start against Soton I'll be content.

What is wrong with Allen starting? He's a boss.

I'd prefer not to see Skrtel or Johnson start, but they most likely will.

I don't think Allen deserves to start ahead of Hendo, Coutinho, Stevie or Emre Can

What's the status of Sturridge! Is he fit enough to be risked in this game (with the season starting few days later)!!! With Markovic, Lallana and Borini out; we will adopt the diamond formation.

Sturridge trained but wouldn't play him cant risk him

I would be happy if Studge is on the bench; no need to risk him, because we are still not sure if we are signing a striker. I just cant wait for tomo, Liverpool and ma fav club after Liverpool playing against each other

I wouldn't play Sterling, Gerrard nor Henderson, either, but I guess that's just me.
