It does prove one thing though, instead of clubs backing crap managers with millions every year they might be wise to spend more of their budget on quality coaching.

Doubt anyone knew Simeone would turn out to be good. Most people probably just thought he'd be generic manager #101 who wouldn't lead Atletico beyond 3rd and would make the Europa league semi each year.
