After the player mutiny, De Laurentiis probably feels the team needs a hard disciplinarian rather than a tactician.

Sebastian Hoeneß, Dieter's son and Uli's nephew, won the 3rd Bundesliga with our second team this season (they don't get promoted, as reserve teams can't be in 1. or 2. BuLi and first and second teams of the same club need to be 2 divisions apart), and now moves to become manager of Hoffenheim.

It's official, 2 weeks before the cup meeting of BVB-Gladbach.. Laughing

Borussia Mönchengladbach wrote:Head coach Marco Rose to leave Borussia at the end of the season

Borussia’s head coach Marco Rose will leave the club at the end of the season at his own request.

"In the past few weeks, we have held a lot of discussions with Marco about his future. Unfortunately, Marco has decided that he would like to exercise a clause in his contract, which was due to expire in June 2022, and move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer," said Borussia's sporting director Max Eberl. "Therefore, Marco will no longer be available to us after the end of the season should the conditions set out in his contract be met on time. Until then, we will do everything in our power together with Marco to achieve this seasons’s goals in the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League."

Borussia Dortmund wrote:Rose agrees to BVB move
3:45 pm

Marco Rose will be new Head Coach at Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund with the beginning of the 2021/2022 season. The 44 year old has agreed to this after speaking with those responsible at BVB.

The focus for BVB is on the current season and reaching sporting goals in the Bundesliga, the UEFA Champions League and DFB Cup.

With respect towards all parties involved, Borussia Dortmund after today will not comment on expectations regarding the sporting future under the leadership of Marco Rose until the season 2020/2021 has been completed.

Poor Jurgen. No wonder he's depressed. It was obviously the wrong time to be on the end of a tactical masterclass by Sean Dyche, Graham Potter, Pep and Liverpool legend Brendon Rodgers.

FC Bayern wrote:Julian Nagelsmann to become Bayern head coach

FC Bayern have appointed Julian Nagelsmann as their new head coach. The Bavarian-born 33-year-old will move to Munich from RB Leipzig on 1 July 2021 ahead of the new season, signing a five-year-contract with the German record champions until 30 June 2026.

This comes after FC Bayern agreed to current head coach Hansi Flick’s request to have his contract terminated on 30 June 2021, two years earlier than its original expiry date.

Do we know the real reason why Flick wants to leave now? Amazing... no offense but its just everything go in the Bundesliga ends up all joining Bayern, whatever the argument against, it doesnt feel that healthy?

Managerial market is pretty wild this summer

And it looks like most big clubs have decided to go for inexperienced, young-ish coaches.

JJ and Bayern are set to appoint Motta and Kompany respectively.

Chelsea are negotiating with Leicester for Maresca and Yanited held talks with Ipswich for McKenna

That still leaves De Zerbi who recently announced he will be leaving Brighton. I thought he'll go to Milan but apparently they're hiring Fonseca(lol)

Barca on the other hand are probably going for Flick.

That still leaves the likes of Conte, Allegri, Tuchel, Pochettino without a job. I can see one of Conte or Allegri joining Napoli.

So many managerial changes in one summer means it's a free reign for Madrid and City to dominate CL next year.

I would be surprised if any team outside of these two won the CL next year.

Managerial pool seems very shallow nowadays, not a lot of choice on the top end.

Surprised no one picked out Nuno Espirito Santo. One I see under the radar too after following Greek footy is Răzvan Lucescu. PAOK had 2 league championships before him. Now they have 4 and this season in particular he did it while taking down Olympiakos, Athens, Panathinaikos, and local rival Aris all in a row to clinch this one. Heroic stuff.

I'm really sad for him. The man came in when we were 9th in the league, secured CL football and won the league when nobody expected us to, it was a good decision to let him go but it really takes a lot of incompetence to mess up so bad with the way they did it

Forever a legend, a great guy

A great guy, fantastic player but always a whiner!

Not convinced at all, he is a good coach. I believe he took a big club job way to soon. He should have developed his coaching skills with smaller clubs first and coaching in Saudí Arabia is certainly not good development.

Terzic of Dortmund resigned... pretty surprising? Maybe thought hes done all he can n only downhill from here so quite on a high?

Update - and they got Sahin as replacement already... very fresh coach... risky? But typical Dortmund done economically, no need to sign big name coach...
