Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V9
Sturridge has 30 goals in 37 starts.
He also "steps up" against his former clubs.
Could be interesting, but Mourinho's will somehow inevitably manage to make us drop points at Anfield. :S

You are far too deep into Mourinho's ass mate.
You've been wanking over him being a tactical genius all season and having more nausea than BR (who ins ur opinion is wank away from home), yet both managers have THE EXACT SAME point tally on the road.
We've got this man.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V9
Firstly, just lol. There's a huge difference having respect to a winner/one of the best managers in the world (he's the Luis Suarez of managers ffs) and being "far too deep in his ass". Doesn't surprise me though, considering you put him in the same breathe as Hitler ffs. (Which are your words, not mine.)
Secondly, watch the "wank away from home" come in Europe. Everything I've stated earlier this season (where I was addressing LONG TERM problems all came true eventually, no?) Again, you don't need to be a "tactician" to win the league in England. You only need to play a consistent system/consistent way of play. See Wenger, see Fergie etc. I never stated we won't win the league under Rodgers; I've stated he's going to find it DIFFICULT IN EUROPE. I don't want to be an Arsenal, and just brag about being in the CL just for the sake of it. Should of posted this in the Liverpool section, I'm going to start another "controversial" topic here now. Speaking of controversial, what was your opinion on Rodgers and him labelling GJ one of the best fullbacks again?

Thing is with City possibly ahead of Chelsea Mourinho will need 3 points from Anfield just as much us.
So doubt he will play his dour park the bus tactics at anfield. Think Chelsea will go for it and 3 pts and can't settle for1 pts. Our real problem is if they take an early lead

Mourinho opening up at Anfield only benefits Liverpool, IMO.

Still waiting for Steven Fletchers return from the injury date. Everyone has been so quiet about it.

I think sarcasm is lost on a lot of people on here. Maybe it's a language thing.

Tbf, its good to see Liverpool back to being a top team and I can't wait for them to be in the CL next year. Their run at the title has been helped by City/Arsenal/Chelsea slipping up as much as it has been their good football, if we're being honest but you still have to take advantage of opportunities and they've done so. Didn't see them cracking the top three(they were behind Arsenal by 11 pts at some point last month or so) but now they have a good shot at the title. Well played. They should be better next season with the even higher amount of CL money clubs are going to get starting 14/15.

It's like my Liverpool mate told me. This season't wont define how good Liverpool are. Next season will.
I do worry about our top 4 chances next season though with United not having CL and Everton n Tottenham will obviously try to break in with the former already having a genuine chance at the CL this season under Martinez. We all know Tottenham tries hard every season to break into the Top 4 and once in a while as Mole says, turd does end up sticking...

As long as Moyes is in Man U, they won't threaten Top 4. You can give him Bayern's squad and he'll still mess it up.
I think Spurs will have a season in wilderness next season, and won't be around too.
Everton? It all depends on how they replace their loaned players.

6 - There have been six red cards in the last seven Premier League meetings between Man City (4) and Arsenal (2).

Sadly I think the game is a nailed on 0-2 City win with Giroud being garbage again.
Having said that, i'll cheer on Arsenal like a mad dog on Saturday. COME ON YOU BEAUT GOONERS !!!!!

Liverpool would have more to worry about Top 4 than you next season.

I hope you're wrong, as much as I resonate your prediction.
Will be cheering for Gunners regardless of what it means for us. Hope they can turn their leaf starting with City.
Vamos Arsenal.

Surag has been understating us all season and now saying we should worry about next season. Trust us mate, remember when UTd were favourites for 4th after signing Mata ?! . Coaching is everything. We will only get better next season with better players and squad depth and Br maturing even more as a manager.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V9
David Moyes's woes are likely to continue on Saturday after it emerged that a group of Manchester United fans are planning to pay for a plane to carry a 'Moyes out' banner over Old Trafford.
The Premier League holders are enduring their worst season in decades, with Goal exclusively revealing on Wednesday that the club are "evaluating all possibilities" in an attempt to arrest the side's slide.
And now, after the Red Devils were humbled by a 3-0 derby defeat on Tuesday against rivals Manchester City, supporters are plotting the most overt display of disaffection with Moyes's reign yet.
A United fans' blog, therepublikofmancunia.com, claims that a section of fans, in reaction to a controversial 'Chosen One' banner that sits inside the stadium, will send their own message during Saturday's clash with Aston Villa.
"A group of United fans have raised £840 in a day to fund a plane to fly over Old Trafford with a message reading: 'Wrong One - Moyes Out'," states the blog.
"The message is a response to the Stretford End Flags banner which reads 'The Chosen One'."
Some fans have called for said banner to be removed, with stewards gathering around it at full-time after the defeat to City to prevent it from being taken down or defaced.

As long as Wenger show common sense in Transfer Window Arsenal wont fall out of top 4 and this top 4 will remain the same imo.

Disappointed about what? Liverpool's goal was to challenge for the top 4 this season. Finishing in the top 4, never mind challenging for the title, is a pretty massive success for the club.
