I really liked Thiago even when he was in Barca B. I was having such high hopes for him to succeed in Barca. But our stupid management ruined it, first by subbing him for Cesc and then by not putting at least a bit effort to keep him. I just hope he becomes one of the greatest ever.

He'll be starting every game for Bayern next season when he's fit. As good as Schweinsteiger/Kroos are, I doubt they'll play together again after what happened this season.

He won't. It's just Schwenisteiger and Kroos can't play together. Neither of them can dribble with the ball, neither of them are agile and they can't retain the ball as well as Thiago. Pep needs someone like that in midfield for his philosophy to work properly.

I'm not so fond of cortisone myself either. Got quite some when I was little and it totally messed up my immune system. Unfortunately it is often used as "fast and easy" solution with inflammations, but for some reason people rarely think about the long time effects.
