Depends really

If Barca/Madrid don't offer him some sort of guarantee about playing time then United would be an attractive option. Even if it means spending 1 year out of the CL. Probably worth it in the long run if he secures a starting spot at Utd.

I think other CL teams (other than Barça, Real), would be all over Gündogan if he's available. Even some Premier League teams who can offer similar money PLUS champions league.
