Aston Villa might give debuts to Grant Holt or Betrand. Baker their main CB is out though.

Same team, Wonder how BR will fit Sturridge, See either Lucas or Hendo getting the boot.

Prior to beating Liverpool last season, Villa had scored all of two goals in the previous five matches. And then proceeded to lose their next three by a combined 15-0 margin. Form has mattered little in this fixture in recent years.

Can't underestimate them.

Why do we always play them at the worst times for us mrr34? Sad

Last couple of weeks have all been on Monday morning's, and tonight it's on 4:30AM Sunday morning.

I have nfi, it's BS man we should of got an early game around 10 or 11, Monday morning games are a killer, the stoke game i had work the next morning, lucky i was sick so i didn't go work and ended up watching the game.

Today's game FML 4.30 am, it'll finish at like 6.30 am so long night ahead lol.

they have conceded only 11 away goals and we are scoring for fun at home. So the game might lie somewhere in between that . I dont want all of Sterling, SAS and cou to start, I fear it will start looking like 4-2-4 and we might slaughtered leaving to much space behind. In case we want to do that we would st least start Gerrard and Hendo together in midfield.

The first XI that trained today was Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Toure, Cissokho, Sterling, Henderson, Gerrard, Coutinho, Sturridge, Suarez < they were all in green bibs, the likes of Lucas, Allen, Moses, Aspas, Alberto, Kelly, Sakho were in orange.

Since I dont follow RAWK, i dont know anything about it. But anyways, i had posted my last post before seeing this twit eco smile

Yeah, it looks like Hell Men Reds was right on the previous page, our line-up is looking too top-heavy. We can't get the ball to Suarez and Sturridge in dangerous positions. Should perhaps take off Coutinho at half-time for Alberto or Allen. Or take off Gerrard, even, we played better than this when he was injured... Not that the full-backs are helping much, by the way.

Such an important goal by Sturridge right before half-time!
Henderson with a deft pass.

But overall it's been awful... Rodgers has got his tactics wrong, we've been set up to press high up the pitch, but Aston Villa don't spend time in midfield, we've been left chasing shadows and constantly defending difficult situations. Should take a step back in 2nd half and play with more patience, we are so rushed in our decision making and passes. Deserve to be trailing.

Thank god Werner was in for this match, We will struggle for 4th if we continue with this squad.

BR atleast changed things after going 2-0 down unlike the Arsenal game. Lucas injured :facepalm:
