Thomas is one of the most common, unimaginative and average names your mother could give you. Although Jimmy isn't far behind in that respect at least the last name "Kébé" kinda bailes him out there. It resembles Kebab. Jimmy is also a name often used in mob movies such as Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction or Mystic River. Meanwhile Müller, again, must be the most common surname in Germany. How can a "Müller" name her son "Thomas", fss.

Yeah, I think Jimmy Kébé wins it.

Exactly. The problem is finding what value X must have in order to make the left side = 1. Jimmy Kebe has the X factor, and thus is the 1. Simple maths.

I don't know where you got your degree but there's nothing wrong with the equation. At the end, you'll get x=1. And no, he isn't proving that x=1, his equation from the start is x*2/2=1 by definition.

Nope, it doesn't because it's nowhere said that x is an element of complex numbers. For all we know it could be a natural number.
Jimmy Kébé=1 is another story. Although even there, one could define a function for real numbers:

f(n)=|f(n)=n for all n element of N except for 1
