Felix Magath: Dortmund and Bayern should be kicked out of the Bundesliga
"I see the Bundesliga as a competition where the first place is already reserved for Bayern. Dortmund and Leverkuson are fighting for the second and third place. From the fourth position onwards, everything is possible. "
"The clubs that consistently play the Champions league have an enormous advantage. We should exclude them from the domestic championships. It would be more honest to form a European league."

For a moment there, I thought this was Del Nido.
Anyway, Bayern is a super power in European football and would always have a monetary advantage over everyone else. But Dortmund and Leverkusen (officially Neverkusen)? Dortmund almost went belly up if I'm not mistaken and had to resort to prudent management and revamp their youth and scouting policies (a rather underrated venture IMO). Have no idea about Bayer but they have no luck with winning stuff.

Move along, nothing to see here. Best not listen to anything this nut says given he is really a poor man's Bielsa, just without all the genius and with all the insanity.

A European superleague is an idea for plastic fans and I trust such nonsense will never see daylight.

bayern should be banned from buying dortmound players every year... how is it fair to buy your greatest opponents best player every season?
Goetze and now Lewa?
only acceptable reasoning would be if Dortmound sells its players very expensive so that it can replace them with even better talent.

No point in a European league if the CL exists. Also lower clubs just have to try harder to match the top clubs. It is possible for other teams to win Bundesliga ahead of Bayern. Dortmund have done it in recent years.
In fact it's easier than EPL/La Liga, considering there's only one elite team in Bundesliga. Which means other teams can just get a good run going and hope Bayern drop points.

How does that make sense? Dortmund won the league when Bayern were in transition.. that's not the case anymore. The quality difference between the teams is huge. Bayern wouldn't drop points even with their second team.Yohan Modric wrote:No point in a European league if the CL exists. Also lower clubs just have to try harder to match the top clubs. Yeh but Bayern don't win Bundesliga every year. In the past decade Wolfsburg, Stuttgart, Werder Bremen and Dortmund have all won it. There will be years when teams like that can win Bundesliga.
After they win it, they just have to build on it. Dortmund are kind of building on their previous success.
