We need improvement in there, it's the only part of the field we are lacking so badly. Signing anyone would be fantastic, hell, I'd even take Meireles back at this point.

The fact that we needed a sub in CM last night, Jose would have looked to his bench and only saw Mikel, that's just not good enough, While Mikel is fine, subbing Lampard off for Mikel when you want to win the game is like subbing a defender on.

Had we had someone like Cabaye, Pirlo or De Rossi on the bench, we'd have felt 10x better about getting the win.

Hell, I was yelling at the TV to sub DL4 on instead of Mikel because he is more attacking.

Main reason number 2 why we need a passing CM: When Lampard went off, we had no free kick taker and we got some decent free kicks, a good free kick taker could have got us a goal much sooner.

I'm saying that we are not making quality signings in the winter window.

Thats not a reason to stop. Also, we bought KDB, Luiz and Ivanovic in winter windows so not all our winter transfers are bad.

Ba and Torres haven't been the best but we still need a CM and the winter window is a good enough time to get one.

Cabaye isn't average and he almost wanted to leave Newcastle for Arsenal before they got Ozil so I am sure he'd want to join us if we came along.

That said, most of the other options are hard to get, but we may as well try get them.
