'Juve almost signed Kondogbia'
FIFA agent Oscar Damiani has revealed that Juventus almost signed sought-after French youngster Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The former Napoli, Milan and Bianconeri winger, who has strong links with French players, has insisted that two years ago, the Turin club almost bagged the midfielder from Lens.
“Two years Juve had Kondogbia in their hands,” he told Tuttosport. “But right at the end, they decided not to pay the €3m it would have taken to get him from Lens.
“Soon after that Sevilla came in. And then 12 months later, the Andalusian club sold him to Monaco for €16m.”
Think you know your Italian football?

Actually, Monaco had to pay the taxes on the fee since it was a release clause... that's how it's done in Spain.
Monaco paid 30 mil for Kondogbia and Sevilla received 16 mil net.
