England, in general, has a multi-cultural population. You'll find that a lot of those people are not "immigrants", but people that were born in England from parents who came over from Africa, Asia and the West Indies.

So it shouldn't be any surprise that Arsenal has a high number of black supporters.

Okay before this goes any further, it doesn't matter if the supporters are black/brown/white/Sino/Indian/African/Jamaican/Mexican................. What matters is, they are supporters.

Let's just leave it at that.

I live in SA and this past Sunday, went to watch the NLD @ a local pub. There was a brit kid there wit an older man, not sure if it was his dad. Both sporting Arsenal tops.

Thought it very strange that they gave me this weird look when I was cheering for the club.
Don't know if its coz I'm black or coz I'm not Brit, but it wasn't a pleasant look to get from a fellow Gooner.

It is actually worse than the torture of the transfer window being open and us not signing anyone. Merry Christmas, I ordered you the best present! You and can have it in 2 weeks.

I think that based on Özil's performances for Werder Bremen, Real Madrid, and Germany over the past several years, he's automatically the best AM in England now. I mean, those stats for key passes, assists, etc. aren't anything to sneeze at either. I have tremendous respect for David Silva, Chelsea's stable of superb AMs, and of course Cazorla ... all truly terrific players. But I think Özil is a step above all of them. I would say the same even if (lulz) he'd gone to Man Utd.

After six months or so, if our new guy isn't quite adapting well to Arsenal or the Premier League, we can re-assess the situation. But right now basically the burden of proof is on everyone else to establish that Premier League attacking midfielder X is better than Özil.

Sina all good, just some fun, Ozil passing is better than Messi imo. Other than that, messi doesnt play that position enough to judge. Of course Messi is overall better, he's freaking alien.
