Expected from a Manchester United fan, putting a completely undeserving Wayne Rooney ahead of the only Ballon D'Or winner, Michael Owen.B-Mac wrote:1. Scholes

Rooney will surpass Owen in goals for club and country within the next 2 years easily and be still just below 30...while playing in a golden generation for football talent

Re: Greatest English footballers of the past 20 years?
Gerrard shits on every single one of them.
I'd put John Barnes on there as well. Although only later stages of his career enters the last 20 year period. Fowler on pure ability as a football is >>>> Owen can ever dream to be. Very underrated by the footballing world.
1. Gerrard
and the rest doesn't really matter.

And yet he will still have the same amount of Ballon D'Ors as Peter Crouch.B-Mac wrote:Rooney will surpass Owen in goals for club and country within the next 2 years easily and be still just below 30...while playing in a golden generation for football talent
Words cannot explain how terrible those lists are. Sir Michael Owen is underrated massively on this forum.Gemini wrote:Overall careers it has to be like this...

Robert Fowler, the drug addict? What a ridiculous comment. Sir Michael Owen was eons ahead of Robert Fowler in terms of talent and individual success. How many Ballon D'Or awards has Robert Fowler won?McAgger wrote:Fowler on pure ability as a football is >>>> Owen can ever dream to be. Very underrated by the footballing world.

Owen wouldn't make a ballon d'or list playing in a generation of Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta, XaviJamarcus Latarian III wrote:And yet he will still have the same amount of Ballon D'Ors as Peter Crouch.B-Mac wrote:Rooney will surpass Owen in goals for club and country within the next 2 years easily and be still just below 30...while playing in a golden generation for football talent

Re: Greatest English footballers of the past 20 years?
Prime Sir Michael Owen would easily make the Ballon D'Or list. Don't be ridiculous. It was an error by myself, I meant to put underrated. I have corrected it.B-Mac wrote:Owen wouldn't make a ballon d'or list playing in a generation of Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta, XaviJamarcus Latarian III wrote:And yet he will still have the same amount of Ballon D'Ors as Peter Crouch.B-Mac wrote:Rooney will surpass Owen in goals for club and country within the next 2 years easily and be still just below 30...while playing in a golden generation for football talent

Can you not act childish and post useless GIFs? It's called an opinion, and you are free to disagree with it. Don't call me a troll because you disagree.McAgger wrote:Obvious troll is obvious. GTF this guy out of way.

Overrated one trick pony.M99 wrote:No mention of Beckham yet. Unbelievable, people have totally forgot how damn good he was.
It's hard to seem like I am not a "fanboy" when a fan of both Real Madrid and Liverpool () tries to tell someone that Robert Fowler 'on pure ability' was better than Sir Michael Owen.Forza wrote:You are going to learn quickly that fanboy-ism will get you nowhere fast on this forum, and rightly so.Jamarcus Latarian III wrote:Robert Fowler, the drug addict? 1. Gerrard
2. Scholes
3. Shearer
4. Lampard
5. Ferdinand
I've rated their overall careers, Owen was great but had a career plagued by injuries and was only at top level for like 3 or 4 years.
