According to ABC.es (group Cope), the deal has been agreed for 99 millions and announcement will be held off with regards to Raul's memorial game

Meh dont want him..I think he is so overrated because for some reason PL clubs gives him acres of space to operate in the middle despite knowing he is going to cut inside 9/10 times.What ever,now i hope he seriously challenge Benzema.

Price tag doesnt decide who is starter and who is not.This is not chelsea...It wasnt long before VDV benched a 66 mill kaka and dont forget how the 40 mill Benz got his ass benched by Higuain.. Performance matters. If Bale struggle to make an impact he will instantly go to bench.

Adit, we're talking about the most expensive player in the history of football EVER. I can't stress this enough. He costs more than World Cup winners, Euro winners, Cl winners, multiple single award winners.............for Buddha's sake, he costs more than Cronaldo. NO WAY is Bale seeing the bench EVER, no matter how shit he plays

I dont share your optimism sadly. I think Bale will struggle this year .

More passing
New System
Strong competition.
Lack of pre-season
Lack of team chemistry.
Pressure of huge fee..

lot of negatives and we dont even know he can successfully play striker role.

Benzema was a spec among CR, Kaka and Raul. Not to mention Higuain who was just as good back then. no you cant compare both situation, come on Adit

I think most people are unhappy at the superstar status our president seems to have given him despite him not doing nearly enough to earn it.

Bale isn't really a focal point striker anyway. He's a free roaming forward. Ronaldo apparently isn't happy about playing as CF.

Benzema will unfairly get benched.

Totally unnecessary transfer. Suarez/any striker would have been a better option than Bale.

who said ronaldo will play cf?? ronaldo will play where he feels more comfortable and he has chosen that left side to cut in. Bale will do the role of benzema (who is supposed to play highest up but doesn't)

oh and if bale can actually put a physical body on that right side so that carvajal isnt isolated then I am all for that
