Let me just say, that article is another example of terrible journalism. At no point in that piece they say that they have knowledge of Madrid preparing a bid for Suarez. All they do is a pure exercise of conjecture: Arsene bid for Benzema, RM can raise money for Suarez, and Rodgers saying anything can still happen... the wording is so good tho, that it reads like "Real Madrid preparing a bid for Suarez", and 99.9% of people will read it as is.

just ridiculous, they should be ashamed. If RM was preparing such a large move for Suarez, i think spanish journalists would have been informed in advance. Not sure i buy this scenario although it sells paper.

Nah, I think he was the first person I saw talking about it today and since he's one of the "leading spanish experts" in the English media, most of the tabloids and what not just followed suit

Willian is good, but there are plenty of quality options on the left wing available for Spurs if we lose out to Chelsea. Anyways, I still think we should go in for Eriksen instead of Willian anyways as we need a creative force centrally, not left of center. Holtby hasn't exactly stamped his impact on the team yet and I'm not willing to wait for him to find his groove. Anyways, competition is good.

The only signings that matter to me are Lamela and Coentrao as they address actual weaknesses we have. If we make both of those happen we will finish in the top 4 comfortably, and if the team gels fast enough we could even challenge for the title.

Oh and Chelsea, $40 million on a player you don't need, but couldn't find the extra cash for Cavani or Falcao

Better yet, you might get rid of your best player (arguably the best player in the Premier League) for Rooney

Sky Italia also say Real Madrid are interested in Suarez.
