I just feel if there is 30 million (pounds) to spend, Spurs can upgrade yet. Some of that goes to a CB most likely, but the rest can go to another winger. Chadli has been impressive so far though, and Siggy has done well from the wing before. But for Spurs to get to that next level...Willian might have been that guy. Time to search for other options though.

I was under the impression he was talking from our end, not the player's end. He seems to be saying that the owners weren't willing to get into a bidding war, rather than we dropped out for footballing reasons. It didn't even occur to me that he meant Willian rejected us because of money.

Sky Sport Italia are reporting Roma target Adem Ljajic is still a long way from reaching any agreement over his contract wrangle with Fiorentina.

His current deal expires in 2014 and the club want to extend it on their terms.
